Oregon blew it. They would have been heavy underdogs to Tennessee, but they wasted a great team performance by making awful decisions and missing free throws when up by 4 in the final thirty seconds of regulation. That should have been the end of Creighton's season and Kalkbrenner and Scheierman's careers.

​@chipchaser44 some of those stiffs were literally McDonald's all Americans and top ranked recruits. Having a player who goes 13-33 from the field and not passing it at all is the problem. Why would the others even try if they know they won't get a shot

This is classic Dana Altman that's why Creighton had to let him go he's good enough to not get fired but in crucial games and moments his team lays an egg. Kudos to Creighton staff and players for sticking with the gameplan and attention to the details

@@jimward8025 same coach who didn't have a counter for Creighton trapping the pick and roll late in the game..sat and hoped Cusinard would bail him out...same coach that had a freshman inbound the ball in final minute who throws it to worst free throw shooter on the floor who misses front end of 1 n 1 then Scheirmam hits the game tying shot....might not seem like alot but at this level those details can't be overlooked. Great coach just not enough to get over the hump hence Regular season record vs postseason record.
