Creepy Men Throughout History

Whispers of creepy men have reverberated through the corridors of time, echoing tales of terror that curdle the blood. From the malevolent shadows of history, they emerge-men so strange, so creepy, that their very names inspire unease. Take Vlad III, a tyrant whose bloodthirsty reign seems to step right out of a horror film, or the original Dr. Frankenstein, whose dark experiments blurred the lines between science and madness. A man with such a stare that even you couldn't survive, and that stare came from Grigori Rasputin. These are some of history's scariest men, those who dared to plumb the depths of the human condition in the most unsettling of ways. So, who is the creepiest of all time? Answer that for yourself...

One thing a friend pointed out to me as Rasputin is that he would've been aware of the fact that many of the medications given to the Tsar's son were actually blood thinners. So just by taking those medicines away the boy would've gotten healthier.

WRONG. Blood thinners would INSTANTLY KILL a Hemophiliac. (Even recently-discovered blood clotting drugs are only partially effective-and only work with mild-moderate Hemophiliacs)….

@paulaedwards6480 And the medications given to the boy worsen his condition since they knew very little about the disorder and they kept him sick and sicker through those meds that thinned the blood which caused the bleeding to worsen. It's not just the disorder that would've killed him but the treatments were horrible and quicken his death or made things worse.

He was called Vlad the Impaler by his enemies. His full true name was Vlad the 3rd Dracula... Dracula came from the word Dracul (dragon or devil) the -a part was to signify son of... therefore Dracula is son of dragon/devil. His father was from the order of the dragon thus the name Dracul, which later became Dracula. It was an Order or group to uphold Catholicism in Romania from Turkism Islamic forces from the east.

Dippel concocted what he believed to be his elixir for immortality. He was his own test subject. Dippel was also the historical influence for Victor Frankenstein just as Vlad Tepes was the historical influence for Dracula, also interestingly enough Dippel may have given Vlad shelter when he was under house arrest by Matthias Corvinus, the king of the Austro-Hungarian Empire who was once an ally to Vlad but as Vlad`s violence grew more taxing on Corvinus`s kingdom he switched sides to the Ottomans and Boyars who were Vlad`s primary enemies and fueled his bloodlust and desire for vengeance as they executed his father and older brother Mircea, allegedly molested him and his baby brother Radu(It is important to note that European and Middle Eastern sources fiercely contradicted eachother and truth is often the first casualty of war); , imprisoned Vlad and forced him to marry his daughter and convert to Catholicism.

Gadfly here 😕. My aunt suffered from depression with multiple suicide attempts 🥺. At age of 10 yrs. I discovered her unconscious and cold🫣 They preformed a lobotomy on her.😣. She lived out the remainder of her life quite happy . Continued to write poetry and care for her grand children 😯

I'm surprised you didn't mention Bertie's specially made chair for "entertaining" the ladies, without crushing him under his weight.

On July 27, 1794, Robespierre and a number of his followers were arrested at the Hôtel de Ville in Paris. The next day Robespierre and 21 of his followers were taken to the Place de la Révolution (now the Place de la Concorde), where they were executed by guillotine before a cheering crowd. Now why wasn't this mentioned in the video? Seems odd that the MOST ironic fact was left out. Great video though, thanks!

The Guillotine is a British invention, made in Halifax. It was called the Halifax Gibbet and the earliest record of it's use is, 1286. Ireland and Scotland had their own version of the Halifax Gibbet, long before the French.
