I just loved the colors and the fun wallpapers! Lots of windows for seeing the great outdoors( before it was overgrown. Wide open spaces are so nice in this home. If only the roof had been kept up and it could have been sold..........

Wow, that house is beat up. I don't usually post on KZread videos, but today I am. I think I've been subscribed to your channel for a few years now. I like that your explorations are straight forward; no cheesy music, no long montage intros, just, "Hey guys, today we're at this house." You share your interest in these places honestly, and it's fun when you get excited about a room and or a feature you come across. The viewer's time is never wasted on your channel. You're in and out. And I think I joined your channel when you were around the 50K mark, and now that number is over 80K and growing. This is cool. Problem is, the bigger you get, the more haters you get. Whatshisface is jealous, period. You don't use gimmicks. There are no, "Is this place haunted" videos. No, "Gone Wrong" crap. Just simple UrbEx, and this obviously will stick in some people's craw, so to speak. The idea that you steal from these places is pathetic. What kind of idiot would film himself inside an abandoned house he's about to rob? And you've been inside so many houses where you could have rented a van, and cleaned out some quality fixtures, and items making more cash than you have off KZread. That's not who you are, and everyone and anyone who's watched more than two of your videos would know this. I'm an old UrbEx guy. You embody all the good things about our hobby. Leave only footprints, and take only pictures. Don't give away choice locations to the public. And you call out the substandard UrbEx guys on their bullshit. Keep up the great work. I really enjoyed seeing this house. I remember having a kitchen floor like that as a kid, the shag carpets, flowered wallpaper. Stalkers, or haters, or liars do live in your mind rent free as you say; but many leave you always expectant of it happening again, worse. They also try to change other peoples opinions of you. And, sadly they sometimes do. So very sorry Ethan! You do a nice job of finding interesting places, and add a little humor to our luves ,also.

It was a great video Ethan. The house was pretty badly damaged from neglect but some of the cool features were still there. Your honesty and genuine character are why so many people love your videos. You take the time to really explore the homes and focus on stuff we would want to look at if we were there. You have a great eye for the details and even if something is old or damaged you remind us to imagine what it used to look like when the family was there. Please stay safe and have a trusted inner circle who will have your back.

I loved the picture you painted about the kids having breakfast and watching tv. You always pick up on the vibes and essence of each home you visit. I thought the shrimp colored walls were stunning and very 70s. Too bad the front doors were destroyed as I would’ve liked to have seen them in their proper place. I imagine the family had as much fun inside as well as outside, and plenty of space to do it! As far as your serious talk at the end of your video; I’m glad you cleared things up though I don’t think you need to justify what is your personal life. I have seen on other channels I follow (different genres) where someone becomes jealous/envious of another’s success and deliberately sabotage them. So that pink room directly off the kitchen was the dining room, the living room was on the other side of it. The room off to the right of the entry was more of a den, which most of us had in the 70's, and the wallpaper was know as grasscloth. We had it on the walls of our den of the house my parents bought in 1981, that was built in the 70s. Thanks for your time in videoing and posting these homes. It sure brings back my childhood in the 70's!

I love these properties that were never really updated and kept their original design elements. I can tell this was a really beautiful and spacious home. The fireplaces are awesome! I love the bath fixtures ! It's always a shame that they get to this condition and have to go, but it's great to get a glimpse of it before that happens. Your channel has always been the only one I watch for this type of stuff, and I'm sure for a lot of others who watch it, that it's not just the great content, but it's because of you and the way you present it and who you are! Haters can find something to hate about every one of us. I'm currently dealing with a few haters myself. It is sad that they are missing out on the joy that comes from being a positive force in others' lives. It makes me smile when you get as excited about different features of houses built in the last 30 years as I do. Have you considered becoming an architect so that you can design awesome staircases? It is great to see a guy who grasps that salmon is not the same color as orange and pink. When I want to look at run down houses, there are tons of people posting tours of those. Many of them provide no history of the house in the video which irks me. I like that you provide a history of the house while respecting the privacy of the people who have lived there. You have found a great and unique niche.
