That hole punched in the camera is such a fantastic and creative idea! That crypt paste looks so good! I love how interactive this is and all of the writing space and tuck spots you were able to include! 💜💜💜

Bel…fabulous tag with all the interactive elements! Love it! I also love old photos. You really can tell quite a lot about the era when you look at these old photos closely. It makes me sad also to see them in antique shops. But it is nice to use them in our project along with other paper ephemera from back in the day. TFS

Thank you, yes I like to think that we are doing our part to remember the people in the photos even though we didn't know them, I love looking at all the details in old photos and coming up with a possible back story for them. I think its better for us to use them in our projects than for them to be forgotten or thrown away 😊🦇

Thank you so much, part of me thought punching the hole wasn't really worth it as its so subtle, but it just adds another fun element especially close up. 🦇

Thank you so much, you definitely need to use your texture paste, it can seem a little daunting at first but once you have played with it a little you will probably end up adding it to everything, or maybe that's just me LOL. Thank you for watching and for taking the time to comment 😊🦇

I've heard of Spring Heeled Jack as one penny dreadful. Have you heard of that one? How about Varney the Vampire? I looked the Penny Dreadfuls up, once, and couldn't read them because the images were too small. I am enjoying this make, Bel! I love the camera tag, and the acetate image of the séance! It DOES look like an old negative! I love all the tuck spots, and flippy flappy bits on this tag! I always learn a new way to make a tag or folder! You inspire me, Bel! TFS! ~Janet in Canada

Thank you, yes I have heard of both of those, Spring Heeled Jack also became linked with Jack the ripper. If I recall correctly Jekyll and Hyde also came out a couple of years before the Ripper and is one of the reasons people wondered if he could be a Doctor. The tales seem a bit tame in comparison to spooky stories today but I love those old classics, they really knew how to build atmosphere.🦇

The hole in the camera lens is fantastic! Fun tag. I'm not quite sure what the grit paste is suppose to be in those places it appears. I'd like to see more of it to come to understand it better. It looks a tan brown color when dry on my monitor, nice.

Thank you, I just added the grit paste randomly because I love the look and texture of it. It always makes me think of grungy things and in this case I think it added to the idea of an old house that may have mould and crumbling brick. It's interesting it's showing up as brown for you, though that may be because it activates the ink in places and takes on some of that colour. I think the tag would have been OK without adding it but I just love this paste so much and it's great for that extra grungy aspect. 😊🦇
