Thank you
good morning, your channel is very interesting, you have expertise and know how to communicate very well... I would like to ask you about the Creek cas 4040 which most appropriate final transistors should be adopted??? I have one with the abbreviations BDT 63 B J 8001 and BDT 62B J8205...thinking about the original project, what would be the right transistors?? Thank you...

Hi thank you for your feedback about my channel, much appreciated. There were 3 version of the Amplifier and the output stages were changed as improvements were made and components became obsolescent. The version your referring to could have had BDT64C / 65C or BDW93C /94C but I have seen amplifiers with A & B versions fitted. If you're looking to replace the BDT Transistors you must source Genuine original Phillips devices, any other brand will not work and will fail. where do you get Creek as my 4040 stopped working and they informed me that they couldn't help as they didn't have the schematics for my board. Which I thought was odd.
