We called ours Bare A$$ Beach. It was just a big sandbar on a wide part of the creek. ❤❤❤❤ Mostly shallow water but the creek had a deep bend you could swim in.

I grew up on the great music of the 60's-70's. CCR has always been one of my favorites. They don't have a bad song! John Fogerty has one of the most unique & recognizable voices around. All their songs are great - "Proud Mary", "Born On The Bayou", "Bad Moon Rising", "Lodi", "Fortunate Son", "Commotion", "Night Time Is The Right Time", "Down On The Corner", "Cotton Fields", "Travelin' Band", "Who'll Stop The Rain", "Up Around the Bend", "Lookin' Out My Back Door", "Long As I Can See the Light", "Suzie Q", "I Heard It Through The Grapevine", "I Put A Spell On You", "Sweet Hitch-Hiker" etc.

CCR is still my favorite group since 1968 when they had their first recording and hit Suzie Q. Lead singer John Fogerty is amazing still performing now in 2022. Many great songs I put a Spell on You, Fortunate Son, Traveling Band, Lodi, Proud Mary, Up around the Bend, Night Time is the Right Time and more. Hope you react to more of their great songs

Classic! "Green River" was a favorite cover of bar bands in the seventies and eighties. At least it seemed that way to me back then before I was old enough to drink, given all the times I heard that opening riff wafting from the doors of various taverns and saloons in the tourist spots of California I visited with my parents back when. The purpose of a rope swing is to fling yourself into the river on a hot summer day. I knew a spot on the San Joaquin River with a rope swing. My buddies and I used to go there sometimes to cool off on hot days back in the nineties.

My favorite line was Bare Foot Girls Dancing In The Moon Light.

I love this song but I never knew all the lyrics before seeing this. John Fogerty writes great songs and the lyrics are very cool.
