Not necessarily true. My 31-year-old son tried to get a whole family get together to go to see Creed this summer but not everybody's schedule could work. so he and a group of his friends are going. It really touches me that he is getting in touch with our generation of music. His insightfulness and intelligence WOWS me more all the time. He gets it!!! ❤️ Happy Mama💃

This song has so much meaning to me... In 2009 I struggled with a drug addiction and I was at my complete rock bottom..I was ready to give up and I didn't want to live no more... I overdosed and woke up in the hospital, after months of treatment my therapist said go home listen to this song... June 18 of this year 2019 I celebrated 10 years sober and clean....😁😊😊😊

Damn....I hadn't heard this song for what seemed like 20 years and then this morning while working at the airport, I hear it in the rental car I was driving back to the wash facility. I made it through first verse before completely losing it and having to compose myself before meeting with my new manager. I lost my Dad in January 7th and this song was like a complete gut punch from out of nowhere. After work, I decided to see if I could make it further that the first verse and nope...I had to stop it again. I love you, Dad. I'll see you again some day.

Please come now I think I'm falling I'm holding on to all I think is safe It seems I found the road to nowhere And I'm trying to escape I yelled back when I heard thunder But I'm down to one last breath And with it let me say, let me say Hold me now I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking Maybe six feet ain't so far down I'm looking down now that it's over Reflecting on all of my mistakes I thought I found the road to somewhere Somewhere in His grace I cried out heaven save me (save me) But I'm down to one last breath And with it let me say, let me say Hold me now I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking Maybe six feet ain't so far down Hold me now I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking Maybe six feet ain't so far down, I'm so far down Sad eyes follow me But I still believe there's something left for me So please come stay with me 'Cause I still believe there's something left for you and me For you and me for you and me Hold me now I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking Hold me now I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking Maybe six feet ain't so far down Hold me now I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking Maybe six feet ain't so far down Please come now I think I'm falling I'm holding on to all I think is safe

Here’s the lyrics Please come now I think I'm falling I'm holding on to all I think is safe It seems I found the road to nowhere And I'm trying to escape I yelled back when I heard thunder But I'm down to one last breath And with it let me say, let me say Hold me now I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking Maybe six feet ain't so far down I'm looking down now that it's over Reflecting on all of my mistakes I thought I found the road to somewhere Somewhere in His grace I cried out heaven save me (save me) But I'm down to one last breath And with it let me say, let me say Hold me now I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking Maybe six feet ain't so far down Hold me now I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking Maybe six feet ain't so far down, I'm so far down Sad eyes follow me But I still believe there's something left for me So please come stay with me 'Cause I still believe there's something left for you and me For you and me for you and me Hold me now I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking Hold me now I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking Maybe six feet ain't so far down Hold me now I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking Maybe six feet ain't so far down Please come now I think I'm falling I'm holding on to all I think is safe

This song speaks to the depression I have suffered through for years dealing with childhood abuse & later postpartum depression. I know what it's like being on that edge & just one thing can just push you off. Thankfully I received therapy to deal with my demons & can say I am living through it, but taking one day at a time. But this song encapsulates that very feeling. If you have never suffered from trauma, I don't think you can understand the full meaning of this beautiful, yet haunting song. One of my favorites from Creed.

I know it sounds weird to say this, but Creed was the best concert I've ever been to! I saw them live with my mom (RIP) back during the 2012 Human Clay tour, I'm telling you, these guys had that crowd more hyped than any other bands I've seen at that venue. Creed sounded exactly like the album, Scott's vocals were freaking perfect, everyone was killing it. I will cherish that memory forever because my mom was with me, she passed away in January of 2018 and she was my best friend. Her name was Kim and she was 56yo when she passed away, she was a beautiful soul and she made me who I am. RIP Mom, I love you and I miss you very much. 🙏❤

Awesome comment to share about the concert. Sorry you lost your mom though. This song seems to have hit a sentimental groove in a lot of us, as we all seem to have a similar story to tell but yet all about different ways it flowed through our lives and our families and friends. It’s good to know we’re not alone.
