Thanks for this excellent reaction Cynthia. CCR were a much beloved band in the late 1960's, unfortunately, squabbling within the band made it difficult to continue and they disbanded in 1972 after just a few short years. However, in the four short years between 1968 and 1972 they released many incredible songs and their main member, singer/songwriter John Fogerty, went on to an outstanding solo career. Keep up the great work and cheers from Ontario, Canada!

In the Beatles first movie "A Hard Days Night', touring is described as' A car and a room, a train and a room and a room and a room" That just about covers it. This song and Grand Funk Railroads "American Band" come about as close as a song can to capturing the true feeling of touring from town o town. Trust me, I lived it for parts of 7 years of my life (from 1979 through 1985) and had the time of my life. Just as our Cynthia said. Great reaction young lady and congrats on the 20K subs. You've earned everyone of the,. RNB

Bob Seger's Turn the Page is the best song about touring and being on the road

@@donbelenger817 Hi Don. I don't disagree with you on "Turn The Page' and its depiction of being on tour. For me though it tells the story from how the aspect of how the road beats you down (which it does- over time). But the 2 songs I mentioned best mirror the exhilaration of getting out there and blowing through a new town and playing for a new pumped up audience every night. The all night partying, the women and the shear breakneck speed of living life on tour . At my stage of life 'Turn The Page' accurately portrays my many years of touring from the retrospective view through a rear view mirror. I don't know what your experiences of touring are but for me, I am only commenting on touring from my given perspective. Have a great weekend, RNB
