The drive in. My God I miss my childhood. I remember my mom taking me and my friends. She would make popcorn, and buy some soda's which were in the ice chest. We would pack our sleeping bags, and our chairs. On Tuesdays they would have a special on car loads of people, and sell pizzas for half price. We would get there early, go to the playground and play, then head to the car to watch the double feature. Oh those were the days.

This is one of maybe THREE Bigfoot/Yeti movies that are actually good, fun to watch, and well acted. The other two would be (in my opinion) “The Abominable Snowman” from Hammer films, and “The Legend of Boggy Creek”. Each of these three films explores the topic in its own unique way.

Actually, this was pretty good, for what it is. I wasn't quite expecting this to even be watchable, considering what 'Dark Corners Reviews' channel, had rated it. Even Jack Elam (who kinda sucks, with his one-depth personality) was entertaining, and believable. He, AND Dub Taylor (another single, layered actor) played, their parts well. I grew up years ago, watching almost every Bigfoot type of film, I could see, but this is seriously, one of the best.

Now that the film quality is cleaned up, it looks more like a Ruger 10/22 but the cartridges he’s messing with in the van look longer than .22 LR...BUT it looks like he’s feeding them into some kind of tubular magazine like a shotgun or lever action from the belly.

I love him with Willie Nelson in "Where the Hell's that Gold?" and with Dick Van Dyke in "Never a Dull Moment." Edward G. Robinson co-stars with them in that one.

Portland, Maine, has a crypto-zoology museum. They have a seven-foot Big-Foot. My favorite cryptid is the Jersey Devil.

Last year for Christmas my mother gave me the book "The United States of Cryptids." It profiles one unique cryptid for each state in America. If you don't know of it, it's a fun read.

Saw this at the base theater, to forget the horrors of pulling out of South Nam a year earlier. Still love the movie today, for Family Friendly values, and more. Sure wish Hollyweird hadn't gone all gross, with their super Gore, Mayhem, and anti-Cultural Decency manure they put out today.

As Cryptozoology related films go on the topic of Bigfoot, the present popular repeated reports were, for the most part, save for the artistic movie drama, were on target. I could've used much more of the acting talents of Jack Elam and character actor Dub Taylor . The ending lacked but all and all was worth the watch. Thumbs 👍 up.
