HUGE TIME SAVING TIP if playing multi-player: There was a lot of criticism about how long the game can get due to shared dice but only being allowed to use them after the active player. We easily fixed this by EACH using a set of village dice: the player whose turn it is to roll the 4 village dice, then others can set their own dice sets to the same pips. Then you decide what to do and do everything except 2 spots. There are only 2 spots where player-order matters. You ask the person who goes first what card they want, they take it, you then do your thing. This speeds up the game SO much! Cannot recommend enough!

I wasn't expecting much from this game, but I'm glad I took a chance. I love this game the more I play it. It truly is just a feel good cozy game. I know its meant to be a lightish familyish game, but it has just enough to crunch on and just enough variation that most games have a different texture, though im not sure how long that will last, and it makes me wish for more! More comforts, more improvements, more combos. Ive only played this at two and its a good length despite waiting on the dice, but i see a lot of the improvements and certain scoring opportunities go to waste, simply because theres not enough out to play off of.

Oh neat! Don't usually see 'older' releases here :) One of our top favourites, we live in the bush of Ontario right near Muskoka where this is set so we've literally been visited by every single one of these creatures except the lynx.

I think this a great game, need to get a copy of this one

I played it once and then got rid of the game. It was really too long for such a basic game even playing with the short version. It is a bummer as I really liked the cute art.

I’m always amazed at the differences of opinions of what people think is a long game. I find this game to be a “standard” length game.
