no, i used a couple differnt types of paint. I tend to be more favorable to automotive paints because that is what I have used for so long. But did use alcohol inks here and there like the Kylo Ren background

My fav is Iwata Eclipse HP-CS, but to start to see if you like it without a big investment, the Master that you can get on Amazon will do the job. Have you seen my Amazon Storefront? You will need a compressor, hose, and paint too

Watching your tutorials has helped me so much, but... I used vinyl as a stencil on a cup for the first time and when I pulled it up it pulled the paint up too. What vinyl should i use and whats the trick to keeping the paint on the cup???

I use Cricut removable vinyl. When this happens, the issue typically is prep and sanding

I do not thin the alcohol inks, they are pretty thin already. I probably would for gold, white, and black though. My favorite paints to use in with my airbrush are: •automotive urethane (car basecoat) •waterbase Createx illustration paint and the Createx Wicked paints •alcohol inks

Can you use acrylic paint in the airbrush to seal the bare tumbler or is it best to use rustoleum type paint which is oil based?? I am hoping with your expertise with paint you will be able to answer this.

The Kylo Ren?...it was just plain automotive base coat paint, i thinned it down so it would be a little bit transparent

So before u painted it red u put another layer of vinyl on the eye mask

I hope this is the last question for a little while. If I epoxy my cup before I apply the removable vinyl, Will airbrush paint or water base paint stick to the epoxy? If so then I can just repoxy over it or do I need to clear coat it 1st? Thank u for ur time, this grandma really appreciates it
