Would it have been worth keeping random pirates in hand if they're a pair with one of your random health-buffed pirates, with the intention being health-buffing another one later and tripling it to conserve hand space?

given infinite time in a game, sure. But we're realistically not getting to that many turns and we don't have infinite time to consider plays. There's a lot more important factors at play than consolidating hand space on pseudo-infinite turns.
how have i never seen an early combat result in both side only having 0 attack minions left..... does the round just end and tie? i know it didnt happen, just random thought

If both sides have zero attack it ends in a tie. Had a combat a couple days ago where I had one of the 0/2 undead guys and opponent had 2 of the 0/2 and it was ruled a tie
