Very informative video. Possibly a daft question....does this device aggregate audio inputs into a blended output? i.e. PC/Mac audio and Line In audio can be heard at the same time over the headphone output, or do you have to switch between input sources? Also, is the volume control dial disabled when using the optical output to an amp/receiver? Thanks.

hi, could you compare the Super X-Fi with DTS H: X v1 (Logitech G430) and v2 (Logitech G432)? With DTSHX v1 the center channel is farther away, as if the sound is coming from the TV, without annoying reverberations as with Dolby Headphone. With DTSHX v2 the central channel is closer, but it is still out of the head. I notice better sound quality compared to the V1, but I don't know. Obviously, a "gaming" headset cannot be compared to a sound card to which you can upload profiles depending on the headset you use. But, in logitech G430, it had a "room" called "signature studio" which is an HRTF fitted to your headphones. In G432 I don't see that option, but they are still very good, maybe it is implemented by default. Do you know if the APP personalizes the HRTF according to the photos of your ear and head? I don't know if all Super X-Fi products have that possibility.

Having tried those technologies in a few headsets, I've always been disappointed at the spaciousness and instrument placement. Truthfully, there's no way of comparing; it's like one is a concert hall where you are at the centre of attention, while the others are you listening to a concert that resides in a hall in front of you (Logitech headsets). And no, this doesn't head map in the same way as the other products

Interesting product, I'd appreciate it if you could guide me or provide help, please. Do you really notice a difference in sound with respect to the motherboard? the fidelity and the sound are improved? I have an Aorus X470 motherboard, which integrates a sound card ALC1220-VB, along with a headset DT 990 Pro 250 ohm, it sounds pretty good already, and i can listen really clear sound ranges and powerful sounds, of course with the right drivers and everything updated. I would really love to be able to improve the sound of my system, is this product suitable? I’m not entirely sure on how to connect this up, but I don’t have a slot in my PC for an internal graphics card and I wish to use digital out but I’m wondering if there will be deminishing returns with how I connect it up. So, do I need to set my games to 5.1 or 7.1 into the Options? And it will downscale it to stereo with surrond virtulization? Or do I have to set my games to stereo and it will just "blow it up" to fake 5.1/7.1 sound? (which imo cant deliver true positional audio). You're correct. Set your PC and any game options to the highest number of channels and the SXFI feature will use those channels to position the audio in stereo with its wizardry. Avoid setting games to headphone audio, instead letting SXFI take care of mixing multichannel audio to stereo. Also, yes, the smartphone app is required. It's necessary to take photos of your ears and head so that it can process the positional audio correctly for the shape of your ears, truly making that rear-left speaker output sound like it's coming from the rear-left through your headphones. I haven't installed the desktop software purely because it's unnecessary in my case.
