Creative Community Service Ideas for Kids Age 5 to 12
Community service ideas for kids! Finding volunteer opportunities and service project ideas for kids can be a challenge. Here are some creative ways kids can make a social impact. #Volunteer #CommunityService #Kids
Through my work with hundreds of nonprofits, I’ve helped thousands of people of ALL ages find volunteer opportunities. There really are some amazing ways to give back for kids in elementary school or middle school or home school. I’ve heard from so many folks how hard it can be to find community service projects and volunteer opportunities for kids. But when kids can participate in the perfect volunteer opportunity, they can build up their leadership and other skills, make new friends, and have fun - ALL while making a social impact. The volunteer opportunities I share vary from ongoing to one-time projects, service projects you can do from home, or even in school.

Wouldn't it be kinda a better idea to Talk about good salaries and wages for workers who could be tasked with these jobs and are oftenly not compensated enough instead of promoting manual labor for children...? Because it's somewhat not clear what the idea behind all this is...

Hey there! I have other videos talking a bit about salaries for nonprofit workers too for sure. I am not sure where you are located, but in the USA, volunteering is a significant aspect of community culture here, and many youth and families are actively trying to find ways to volunteer and donate their time to help a cause they care about because they voluntarily want to. This video talks about some ideas on how they might do that. :)

@@AmberMelanieSmith perfectly explained! And also, in Maryland (where I live) in order to graduate high school, you have to have put in 75 hours of community service. It doesn't only have to be like picking up trash, it can be volunteering at a shelter, reading to animals, really anything.
