Allison this series is so interesting. I have not created anything with collage so I am eager to dive in. I am a self taught artist and am learning to embrace the creative process instead of focusing on the outcome. I hope you continue to share more videos and ideas on this. Hi Lucy--I use gessoed 140 lb paper (usually water colour paper.) It comes in standard 22' x 30" sheets. So it would be possible to make a bigger painting.

@@lucyjones3493 I usually gesso both sides- it seems to prevent buckling of the paper

I feel like this piece you’re working on would look better turned around. It looks upside down to me.....
