Creating Predictable Deer Movement By Making Your Own Deer Trails

Installing different habitat improvements to encourage certain behaviors within our property borders will help in establishing a daily pattern. We can make that movement much more predictable by either creating or enhancing existing deer trails. If we can push deer down a trail we want them to take, this makes getting hunting opportunities at the local deer herd that much easier.
In this video we talk about one of the deer trails we carved out on our property here in Michigan.

Really well put together and thought out presentation on what you're doing for a trail. Working on a project doing some of the same except using shrubs that retain their leaves for when the marsh grasses fall down. Keep these great videos coming!

Do you put these trails in the open hard woods to connect different bedding pockets?
