Put a bit of olive oil in the palm of your hands, take a magazine page and roll the page into a ball with your oily palms -- keep going until you like the color, then flatten it out. It’s a process called momigami. I only heard about it this week. Have a look at Robyn McClendon you tube video called week 52 - 52 week challenge. She explains and shows this oil to paper technique on various types of paper. Don’t we just love new techniques?!?!

I have now just ordered Citrasolve from Amazon as we don’t have it here in Canada either. I live virtually next door to the US but crossing the border is still a hassle; I can hardly wait as I did buy a NatGeo at the thrift store recently! Love from 🇨🇦

This technique is awesome, thank you so much for sharing. I can verify, being the highlands of Scotland, that this technique definitely doesn't work in cold temperatures. Had 2 copies of the May 2011 NG mag, so did an experiment. I did one the shed @ 2°C and that didn't work. The one I did in the house @ 19/20°C did work👏🏼. The house will smell like OJ forever now 🍊😍. This is awesome !! I have one too. Take my faves to the self-copy shop & make prints on card-stock, experimenting with the various settings. . I make minatures & when the designs are reduced to tiny they are amazing. Thank you ! and also to Toronto from Quebec.

Thank you SO MUCH for this! I found it in my feed and was totally blown away. I've heard of this technique before but never gave it much thought. The results are astonishing! Thank you also for your great generosity in sharing the free printable downloads on your blog - I have just downloaded them and can't wait to use them. I am new to collaging and have just acquired the most beautiful hand-made book with natural stuff on the cover (leaves, bark etc.) and buff coloured hand-made paper pages. I had been planning on making a journal with a limited colour palette of browns and this book exactly fits the bill. These papers are going to be such an asset for adding texture and interest. I am so grateful! Your art is amazing. New subscriber to your blog and to your KZread channel. Keep up the good work - you are a star. Greetings from the UK.

As from UK cannot get Citro Sol for a reasonable price so downloaded your prints and printed off in black and white; they make great backgrounds for gel prints in themselves. Thanks for your generous sharing.
