Geek In The Closet Thank you. I'll let you know lol.
Thank you for the info, been wanting to know how to make them.
I just tried this and the hot glue stuck to the wax paper, so not sure if I need thicker paper or what. I might just go buy a cheap non-stick pan or cookie sheet from the dollar store and try that. I did get a couple of ok splatters, just waiting for the paint to dry on them. I'll keep practicing and hopefully get some really good splatter FX.
Great! Thanks for sharing.. I'm giving it a shot already today.. I've tried some green alien blood, but I'll go on to the red blood effects now.. Yours look amazing.. I've seen some use spray paint, but in my opinion they lack the details and texture of the acrylic versions.. So thanks again.. I'll heat up the glue gun right away.. :-)

I think the green blood would be perfect for your collection of predators! I look forward to seeing the end result of your project!

That's not wax paper, its baking parchment.

U can use wax or even small pieces of blue tac. That's Wat I normally use.
Very cool effects, goin to try to make some flames the same way. Ty for the post. Very helpful as i just started my hot glue 🔫 shooting. Like the way you drug out the fine edges and tips. It your glue gun a hot temp or low temp??
how do you stick it to a sword? like as if the blood is dropping from the sword

Nora Gami super glue, or the hot glue gun. Maybe even mount the paper to a wall.so it will automatically drip down

True, but have you seen his Mirage Comics counterpart?
Quick question how do you get the effects to stick on standing figures?

Ok thanks alot :)
So I tried this, but it keeps sticking to the wax sheet? How long am I supposed to wait before pealing it off?

It took only around 15 seconds for the hot glue to cool. Perhaps you can try to cool it down under a fan or maybe you need a different kind of wax paper.

I use either blue tac or wax
i request 3 times to get in and they didnt accept me, you know why?
blood gets darker after a while. at first its a bit brighter than what you have there. its honestly fine but if we're getting technical here. I've helped do hundreds of surgeries.
It sorta looks like mucus without the paint..
check out t.c. toycomics on Facebook. we have some great dio makers there too.
hey i thought i invented that. lol. great minds think alike
Problem with this is they'll always be flat on one side :/
