normally made in steel or stainless steel.

Are the balls 4.5mm wide? & where can I purchase this chain that has the two headed pin between the balls . Thanks

All ball chains are like that, you can cut and splice them anywhere. You just have to make sure the pliers matches the size of the ball chain, both come in multiple sizes.
