Can you give me any information regarding incorporating this technology into a city builder simulator. I have a programming team that finished making some android games but want to now build a city builder for the windows OS market. But the key would be making it procedural and scalable for never before seen gameplay in such a games genre. Thankyou.

The Redlands Redevelopment example provides a template for showcasing urban planning and design capabilities using Esri CityEngine. Dear Justyburger, You can purchase CityEngine via the website (www.esri.com/CityEngine) or if you are outside the US via your local Esri distributor: www.esri.com/about-esri/offices Are you evaluating CityEngine for a specific project?

Thanks Dominik. The software looks amazing. The problem i had with the trial version had something to do with it not being authorized somehow? I did not see a prompt for add the code and so each time i click on the application, the message reads "No valid license found". I certainly would like to have a good trial run before a purchase.

anu radha You are attending an education for a reason. You stating that it is your final project obviously shows you may have done this before and did not learn anything.. Also, if you are going to ask a question online, please make sure you speak and write correct English and not that junk above with numerals which I and a lot of other people find difficult to read... Definitely not a good start to your career.

Tried running the program and importing a map, but the map import function requires a login, and I signed in using a google account on the webpage. This does NOT work on the desktop program. Trying to create a new account from within the desktop program doesn't do anything at all. Trying to click "forgot password" in the program does nothing. Seems like an unfinished product.

Hi Nixxen! Yes, you will need to create a ArcGIS Online account. You can do this for free.

Stereo Pairs are usually superior to LiDAR for 3D building creation. LiDAR has too many points. That is not how you should measure a building.

Agreed. All of these guys produce terrible videos. Most don't even add a sound track. Just give us the basics of making the damned city and let our own entrepreneurial spirit do the rest. This is like trying to learn Calculus, with no background information of basic theory behind the math.
