Hi, I'm Brazilian, a tip. You could use a squeegee, here in Brazil they say a squeegee to draw water, a squeegee, they use it a lot to apply spackle, instead of a steel trowel, so you can stand up..

Yes you can.....I do use roller to prime though what she used is different from mine
