Hi, I've been following along with these fantastic videos, and you make it so simple to understand, thank you, My one query is that I have multiple ghosts, that I want delayed so they're released one after another. I've got this attached to the green flag, and that works fine, but when they restart after pacman respawns, they all start at once. How could I get it to do the staggered release after the respawn? Cheers

my ghost isnt moving smoothly and doesnt go up and down

I have gotten onto part 10 and then my Pac-Man has disappeared and I don’t know how to fix that because the code for Pac-Man to switch between costumes is working fine and the costume for Pac-Man is there but I don’t know how to fix this

in this order when i receive/show/hide/wait/go to x/show worked for me and i put a show just after the When clicked. That worked for me

That's a common mistake

I did the same code as you but my ghost keeps going through walls still even after i put the direction at the bottom

Don't worry, everyone makes mistakes when coding - you're in good company! You can either go back through the video, double-checking each step, or share your game on here so we can have a look at it to see what the problem is. (Don't worry, when you share a Scratch game no one can edit your original version - they just have access to a copy.)

I do a lot more than just Scratch. Through my channel you can learn coding in Scratch, Small Basic, BBC Microbits, JavaScript, Roblox coding, and VBA. pacman is going good but not the ghost

Whenever I did the recieve pacman thing, my pacman has gone permanently invisible and I don't know how to fix it. Do you know?

maybe get the show button in Looks but if that does not work then idk, sorry

mine had the same problem, but then I placed the "Show" block below the "when green flag is clicked" block and it appeared again

It may have gone off to the side. Just add a Motion block of code under the Green Flag block that's sets the position to 0,0 - that should return Pacman to the middle of the screen when the game begins.

the ghost won't move it would just do left and right and not move
