oh never mind i fixed it by adding a background
Here's a couple problems someone might have when trying this. Make sure that your rendering engine is set to Cycles. The camera settings you need to make an Equirectangular render is only supported by Cycles. Also avoid using the Denoise render engine feature. Denoise will cause a visible seam in your HDRI at the edges of the image, because the denoiser doesn't understand that the image is supposed to be mapped to a sphere. If you can find a way to denoise your image without this problem, then go ahead. Otherwise, I suggest just increasing the number of max samples and decreasing the noise threshold to acceptable settings, and turning denoising off, to make your HDRI render.

@@RyanKingArt the furthest I got was creating a caustic clear red and green pill. Aint colorblind but then I didnt go for a Matrix combo either heh. I just fall flat when it comes to angling and positioning lights, and the types of lights on a scene to really bring the dramatic flair across. Do you have a tute on lights? Or recommend any? Like sometimes Im undecided when it comes to adding emission planes or adding another light to the scene.

Thank you for the tutorial! One question: why do not activated the Noise Threshold at Render?
Hey! Thank you a lot for the tutorials. They're extremely useful! I wonder if anyone bumped into an issue with the format ratio. When I set it to 400% it causes the render image to disappear immediately after it's finished.
@RyanKingArt
4 ай бұрын
thanks for watching! Hmm, I don't think I've had that issue before.
Anouther way to render faster is to hit lightpaths and decrease the light bounces as the les bounces it has to render the easier and with les complex scene like this one you dont need a default 12 bounces

Great tutorial, thank you very much, however I see that there is a mistake and it is that actually the sunlight you added, is not seeing in the HDRI 🤔

Yes, you can make it yourself. Although I don't have a tutorial on it. You can download the free tutorial files though, to see how I made it. Links in the description to the free download.
very useful. not well known i bet either...yet simple. anyway. is making an matcap for blender also as easy?
@RyanKingArt
2 жыл бұрын
Yes. Actually I have a tutorial on how to make matcaps for Blender: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pKl5xJumeti3oNo.html
I ran into an issue that HDRI I made in Unreal engine got a very obvious stretching line. The render result seems fine tho.
A question - can I build a 3d world with models, HDR sky and image planes for trees etc and turn this entire scene into a workable HDR as good as one created by a 3d camera set-up?
@RyanKingArt
2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you should be able to do that. 👍
When changing to panoramic, it doesn't give me Panorama Type options! Using Blender Version 3.1.2 - ah, solved it: Needs to be Cycles, not Eevee.
@RyanKingArt
2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you need to use Cycles. Sadly Eevee doesn't support it.
how do you take your own image though and make it into a HDRI. because i noticed this is already a texture in blender
What if you make a sky box with shader nodes, how do you bake that to an hdr?

Hi, thanks for your tutorial that helps a lot. my question is I've followed your baking tutorial on how to bake textures and when I download a high dense texture and apply to my model and when I bake the texture it would give me different result I doesn't bake the normals properly if you got same problem before could you give me any suggestions??
@RyanKingArt

Umm, I'm not sure exactly what the problem is. What does it look like when its baked?
@CodeZakk

@@RyanKingArt it is a wood texture and its edge is hard edge but when I bake it even in 4k it make it curvy edge and when you look closely it looks creepy it clips most of the details!!

Can I use this technique with an high quality photo?
@RyanKingArt

Good tutorial but it's not really creating a HDRI as your using blender's sky texture rather than using say gradients and what not. It does look good though but can you change the time of day with that or is it always dusk?
@RyanKingArt
2 жыл бұрын
Well, the sky texture was just what I wanted in the background, but you could do this for really any 3d scene, even an interior indoor scene.
I can't seem to find the panoramic type menu, was it removed in blender 3.1?

@@RyanKingArt Oh no no, don't worry! I think I am just not that much into 3D Art yet. But tutorials should not always be directed at total noobs.
