Nessie, there really is no need to be nervous. Your fabric paper is brilliant, and definitely one that I am going to try. Your instructions are wonderfully clear, as is your voice. You speak slowly and clearly and are a pleasure to watch and to listen to. Thank you. xx

Thank you. I do find it hard to keep up the chatter, I worry that I'm repeating myself alot. Thank you for the support xx
WOW, this technique is amazing, thank you.
Vanessa, great video! Love your creativity! In regards to ideas for inking paper doilies; I mist water on the whole thing lightly ,(or edges of only want it on edges,) I then smoosh on top of distress ink that I've placed on my glass mat which I have misted with a bit of water as well. I try not to mix or blend at all, I like it random color depth, experiment and see what you think of that technique! Thanks again for sharing!
What a neat project, will put that on my to do list. Thank you for sharing.

I know exactly how you feel but you did a fab job, I love the idea of doing it on fabric for a cover or pouch as you are intending it for. I find it hard talking and doing as well but I think the more we do it the easier it will get... Don't forget that we all have to start somewhere before we become more fluent in it.... Please keep going you have a nice calming voice and tbh I just love glueing and watching other people doing it too is very relaxing 😁😁❤️🌷Hugs Elaine xx

I have been wanting to try this. Thank you for sharing, it looks lovely!
Let me ask you or anyone here.....I made my fabric paper and wanted to use it for a journal cover. It’s rather stiff but I “think” I can kind of manipulate it into working. Any suggestions for future projects that I’ll be working on? I’d really love to have pliable paper when finished. Thanks!

The thinner the fabric and paper the more pliable it will be. If you use tissue paper or napkins on muslin you will get the best results xx
You did so well doing this video huni. You explained everything lovely. I love your style and I'm sure going to subscribe to your channel. xx

I think have done a great job
I love it. Beautiful job! Did you finish your journal and did it hold up for you? Does watering the regular mod podge help you not need to purchase fabric mod podge? Have you tried fabric mod podge? If so, do you know the difference? Thank you for sharing this!
I’m curious why you diluted the modge podgewith water!
@nessiesjournals9315
4 жыл бұрын
It's too thick really so spread over the fabric I think. You don't have to dilute it I suppose, it's just something I have always done when doing décopatch. Lasts a lot longer as well 😁
Can you use cotton fabric?
@nessiesjournals9315
4 жыл бұрын
You can use any fabric, the thicker the fabric the stiffer the end result will be though xx
