@@ClimmiesCreations I have happy mail supplies like paper, tags, master pages for copies stuff like that. If I had a budget of $50.00 What are some of the tools you recommend? A hole punch, paper cutter or will a rotary cutter, ruler and cutting mat do for now? I will need to get double sided tape & glues too. Oh! Stamps! One with lines what else? What do you recommend? Have you made made a video for a super beginner list of supplies? My box of goodies will arrive in a day or two! 🤗🤪💐🦋

Your excitement is contagious!😁. When starting out use whatever you already have. If you have a rotary cutter, ruler and cutting mat then by all means use that. Do you have a Tuesday Morning nearby? An AC Moore? You can get a lot of bang for your buck there as well as thrift stores, Goodwills etc. Some Dollar Trees have really nice napkins. As far as glue goes Tacky glue is very versatile and budget friendly. I use double sided tape occasionally but not nearly as much as when scrapbooking so that’s not a must have. The Manila mailing envelopes you can get at $🌳 in different sizes make good journal covers as well as cereal boxes. You can even repurpose those hardcover books that they carry and use the pages for pockets, tuck spots and embellishments. (Check Out Patricia Viramontes for inspiration here if you haven’t already). I could go on and on😂. I do not have a video concerning starter supplies, but perhaps I can make one.

I am making machine embroidered lace, tassels and small charms too. Will post a video of that process. On average how high x wide should I figure for a pocket 3x3?
