Do I use the 32 bit version or the 64 bit version? Does it matter and when?

So I’ve tried this on 2 different usb drives and still won’t work, one was an 8 and other was 16 . Should I go with a 32?

I made a rookie mistake! Usually I unplug the extra HDDs but it looked like Windows would install on the NVME m.2 SSD--wrong! An hour later I did unplug the 1T HD and installed windows 10 on my new m.2 256G nvme in minutes! It was a new Dell 3880 but I didn't want all of those pesky partitions on the included m.2 drive. I keep the original in case I need it while under warranty. Dell must have hidden stuff on the 1T data drive?

Great videos. Quick question on the windows 10 boot drive video. What, if ant, desktop items or software comes as part of the download. Know I'd lose music bee, steam and any others I downloaded but do any come with the boot?

Using these steps to move Windows 7 to Windows 10 is unless with Windows error 0x80072F8F, which is too involved to fix without messing up computer by changing program functions.

Can you do the same step for win pro edition I didn't see it listed in the video just the basic edition

from what i noticed, if the pc youre using to create the media is running on windows 10 pro then it would show in the options as default when you tick the "use the recommended options for this pc"

Hi CCC My dell laptop is EUFI, I have tried to install from a usb before to fix a problem, but it would not work, so will this usb flash drive install work when I change to a new SSD

After doing this exact process can i remove my hdd and put ssd and instert flash drive and install windows 10 without asking any license key?

yes, you can install windows 10 with this drive on any computer. Activation is another issue. Dale

If I put a new SSD in a Dell Inspiron 5348 all in one, can I use this disk to boot windows and install it on my new SSD? Do I need to know how to boot from an external USB with my dell? Or will it recognize the USB immediately. I read elsewhere that one needs to access the BIOS. Is that true? Whats the best method and order here to get a clean install of Windows 10 on my new SSD in my dell inspiron 5348?

Hi. I saw both your comments. If you have a new bare drive installed in your system, yes, it should default to your usb boot drive to boot.

You should not have to worry about bios. On most Dell's, you can get to the boot menu by tapping f12 as soon as you power it on.

If your computer came with windows 10 or 8, yes it already has a digital license.

Is this free? Isn't there to pay for Windows 10?

Not sure about begging for free advice, so feel free to ignore this question. I can donate! I have a crappy ASUS laptop with a tiny 32GB drive. It has been IMPOSSIBLE to update Windows 10 because the capacity of the laptop cannot manage the update(s). I've tried countless times. The MS solutions FAIL. I would like to sue them, but can't. Nothing replaceable inside.

Can you use an SD card instead of a USB flash drive?

If your BIOS gives you an option to boot from the SD then yes, SD should work.
