I agree, alcohol markers are life changing! I recently started using them and they are just SO much easier to blend 😂. I LOVE the way the bat and his strawberry came out - the shading is amazing!!

Great artwork. I like the dress form idea and may do that for some sketchbook drawings if I don’t want to make a character or just the outfit. I have a creative type journal I got a few years ago and haven’t done much with it yet. I need to work on it-maybe filming some might help motivate me...🤔.

name ideas: berry boo/berry betty the bat blueberry/blackberry(cuz he/she a purple bat) meeku luna bombshell strawbert beads love ur channel!!!! Hope u feel better

To blend and layer alcohol markers I've found it's easier if you have certain paper. I use X-Press It Blending Card Paper. I start with the lightest color and build up on top of it, blending with a mid tone. It's a little bit like using colored pencils. The paper itself has a texture similar to the cover of the Create This Book. It's almost slick (but will hold the markers in a way the cover of the book doesn't. Kind of sounds like I've done this... LOL Yes, I have.) The end results are like vibrant water colors. I think X-press it is an Australian company so it's kind of expensive here in the states. I wouldn't be surprised if Bristol, Strathmore or some the more more accessible brands for Americans have something similar, but I don't know what it is. Maybe someone else does? The drawback to X-Press it is using colored pencils will probably be difficult. I haven't tried it, but as you can tell from the feel of the Create This cover, I doubt it will take pencil well. I'm not an expert and this is the way that works for me - if others have different materials or advice, I'd love to hear it, too.

So I used Ohuhu markers on a canvas and it dried,the,markers quickly. So I'd reccomend not using them on a canvas or canvas material. My favorite page was the fruit bat.
