Create Realistic Bottled Liquid in Blender [FULL TUTORIAL - Cycles/Evee - Nonphysical Approach]
Ойындар
Creating bottled liquid with Blender can be a challenging task with many different approaches - both physical and non physical. In this video tutorial, we'll be exploring this non physical approach, compatible with both Cycles and Eevee in Blender 2.9.

HEADS UP: It appears that the boolean modifier functionality has changed since making this video. Switch to the "Difference" calculation, and flip the normals of the surface plane to get the results shown in the video (select face -> alt+n -> Flip). You'll have to do this for the particle mesh too! Thanks for watching! Check out my Instagram to see completed Blender renders: instagram.com/lonedevrenders/

Muchas gracias, excelente tutorial!!!!👌
Just the tutorial I was looking for! Liked & Subscribed
This is a master class
Nice job man, thanks
WOW! THX!!! 🤩
Finally... his return...
YOOOO THANKS BROOO
Tip: if like me you need this effect on something already animated with no easy way to start without rotation on the object: the plane's orientation needs to be aligned with the object. You can do this by adding a copy rotation constraint but with default settings and hitting Ctrl A over it to apply it. And then add the constraint as in the video.
Very helpful Thanks a lot

wow brilliant I have only one gb card impossible to make liquid simulation with one gb card. but this trick is amazing . thank you "Lone" thank you soo much.
very good an easy tutorial, now lets see if i can do it xd
cant fix the prb with boolen for liquid. difference shows opposite result than needed intersect doesnt show the liquid at all. Using 4.1 and tried many times. please help
Good video
Hi, thanks for the tutorial, in switching the boolean from "difference" to "intersect", mine doesn't work like what i see on the video, the liquid isnt visible at all, if i rotate the plane, the liquid become like an unfilled cap
Amazing idea, at the end did you make a collection instance for the 3 bottles?? because that's what I'm trying to but the plane object rotates with the bottle, so the liquid is static in the collection instance
Nice job man, i love your theme can u share it?
Hey, I´m having an issue, the liquid's screenspace refraction doesn't work when the bottle is visible, the inside of the bottle just turns black...
the copy rotation function is not working for me
😻🤩🤩
Is the liquid actually a second bottle just scaled inwards ?
Hello. great class. In this case I am creating a glass with beer. When clicking on the glass in Collision, it is not containing the bubbles. Do I need to do any specific configuration?
@LoneDeveloper
2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! There could be a number of reasons why the bubbles aren't appearing, I suggest making sure your bottle's collisions are mesh-based and aren't a convex hull, which would immediately collide with and destroy the bubbles. Other than that try double checking your configuration to ensure particle emission is set up as shown in the video.

@@LoneDeveloper understood. Thanks for the answer
Where does the liquid mesh come from
Would the liquid still move if the objects were rotated, within a game engine like Unity?
hi my liquid goes white whenever i start to edit the nodes on the material... help
The "plane" is not working as shown in the video when boolean is applied. When using 'intersect' with the plane and the water it is simple a flat layer of water. Plz explain

Hi, thank you for bringing this to my attention - after opening up my soda scene in Blender it appears that the boolean modifier functionality has changed since making this video. Switch to the "Difference" calculation, and flip the normals of the surface plane (select face -> ctrl+n -> Flip). That should help.

@@LoneDeveloper it still done the intersection, where it only gives you what is common between them. Do you think this would work if the plane were a cube instead?
i can tell your eyes hurt just like mine when watchin 27min 10x time :D
The liquid mesh is pretty important and for a novice it's impossible to know where it comes from or what he did, which is the point of a tutorial, completely stuck half way through.

Hey sorry you're stuck, have you tried what I've suggested in the pinned comment? I know that since posting this tutorial the boolean modifier's functionality seems to have changed. If not let me know and I'll try to add another note aimed at getting things working again.
Very great tutorial :) But one question. I'm using v3.3 and when aktivate Boolean -> Intersect, my liquid invisible completely. Has something changed in the version?

Hey Lone Developer! What if the liquid is elongated because the bottle is more canteen shaped than coke bottle shaped?
