When I drag my second measure over the circle it changes the value of the background measure of the lower map.

Hi, in multiple layer view, I actually need a feature like if we click on suppose one of the sites in the US then other sites who are linked with that particular site in the database also highlighted on the map and other remaining would automatically view in lighter shade in the background. How can I implement this feature? Please advise.

I would create two different map worksheets, place them on a dashboard and then use a parameter technique to show/hide the different worksheets as needed.

Can you please explain, how did you actually get the percentage value? The formula your are showing, is providing Sales by State. How are you getting the percent value out there? Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks in advance.

Hi Sales can change into percentage by right click and change to percentage, sum etc,

this is great, assuming your data is structured to have a category field....but how can one add a pie on a map if the two categories you have are in two separate columns? A State Name B Category 1 C Category 2?

Make sure you are holding down control while dragging the Rows pill. This feature still works in Tableau as it is a fundamental part of creating dual axis charts.

This is performed on the dataset that Tableau distributes with the desktop edition. Do a google search for Sample Superstore dataset, and you should find a copy (it may not be this exact version, but it should work for the lesson).

may i know why i am not able to drag and duplicate the latitude?

It's the standard Tableau Superstore data set.

@@AnthonySmoak The Superstore dataset gets updated every now and then... Have not checked recently. Best to create a Tableau Public twbx...
