Microsoft Word Tutorials
Within all my tutorials I aim to help you develop your skills working within Word, Excel and Powerpoint as well as further your knowledge about the tools which are available within the Microsoft Office Software.
Throughout this channel I aim to cover simple subjects such as page numbers, margins, headers and footers, image, pictures and fonts as well as more advanced themes such as tables, mail merge, table of contents and electronic signatures.
Sharing tips and tricks which I discover along my journey is also an important aspect of this channel. I love the idea of giving people the solution to a problem they’ve been struggling with in Microsoft Word, Excel or Powerpoint.
The channel began all because of a problem I had when I had to insert images into a Word Document. I couldn’t find a way to drag and drop multiple images into a table without them expanding across the page, being cropped or interfering with the rest of the text. It wasn’t until I finally sat down one day, determined to find the solution and developed a way to solve the problem. Having found the problem quite difficult to solve without knowing how to do it I decided to make a You Tube video about it. Never once believing that many people would watch it, let alone be so grateful.
After discovering how helpful a simple tutorial could be I decided to make further videos with the aim of once again helping as many people as possible.

Thank you Lisa! Is there a way to allow the filler add a personal picture or any other file as an attachment to the form? For instance, when I send a fillable form to someone that needs to add his picture on a form requesting a club membership

Hi Lisa, great Tutorial. I was wondering if I wanted a duplicate form on the same page, could I just copy and paste the entire box, or would I need to do all of the individual steps again from scatch? I need 3 of the forms that you created on 1 page. Please let me know when you can. Thanks, Jason

@@LisaDoe Hi Lisa, I need to create a voice over template and I want to start off initially in MS word by setting the layout, and using adobe to make the template fillable. I don't have the full version of MS word 360 account at work as they will only update to the newest version when it comes out so I can't access the Developer tab. But my questions is, what if the text is more than one page long and the user needs to add another page? Bear in mind this is going to be a fillable form, as i don't want the user to able to change the formatting of the fields by accident. Is there a way to add another page as needed, like you have in Word it automatically adds a page when you reach the bottom. Thanks in advance.
Do you have a tutorial that shows how to make the fillable forms "required" ? Btw this was one of the simplest and yet informative on make a pdf fillable form that I've seen!

Lisa, I love all your tutorials, thank you! Quick question, on our form, we need the signers to upload certain docs from their computer to give to us. When signers click "UPLOAD HERE" there should be a box that shows FILE from Desktop etc. How to create that on the form please? I have not seen anyone give this tutorial in youtube :--(((

How would you accomplish the following- if the space provided for a Question or section is continuing text and not a hard end text box. Like if someone were typing instructions to get somewhere and they needed a lot of space.
I want to put the option to cut words with a horizontal line. How can I do that?

I'm a bit confused. The way to make a fillable form in Word is to...not use Word, and instead do it in Adobe Acrobat? This can't be done without additional software?
Do I need to purchase PDF software?

So, I have to have Adobe Acrobat also. Am I Right? This is not a total Word tutorial? I have MS 365, and just starting to get into fillable forms. I just want to send an email with a simple fillable form and have them send it back to me.

Can you add fields to a PDF that you already have. For example, how do I enter the name and address on one page, and it shows in every area with Name and address within my 17 pages in the pdf.

Go to headers and footer (double click at the top or bottom of the page). Draw a text box and type the text you want into the text box. Move the text to where you want it to show on the page (eve if this is in the table. Remove the border line (shape format>outline>no outline). Double click back into the main document and your information will be on every page.
If the person typing has a lot of words, will the box scroll?

Great video, however one remark: The title should spell "Creating a fillable PDF Form with Adobe Acrobat" - this has nothing to do with MS Word. Have a good one
Only works if you have a paid version of Adobe Acrobat. Very misleading.
