nice!! thank you! very practical and useful tutorial!!
Legacy Form Fields, Legacy ActiveX and Content Controls are actually 3 different things. The instructor talks about Content Controls and ActiveX as if they are the same thing. That dropdown in the ribbon which shows Legacy or ActiveX, the whole dropdown is called "Legacy Tools".
Very helpful video. Thank you so much for your tutorial.

When you apply formatting to the text content control placeholder text it applies that to the user's input as well, which may not be desirable, just an FYI.
Is there a way to change the tab order of the form? For example, when you set up forms with fillable fields in multiple table columns, by default the tab key moves the user to the cell to the right. I'd like to set it so that tabbing moves the user down one column first, before moving down the second column.
thank a lot i am waiting for the next one

Thank you for your excelent job! I am just woundering if I is it possible to have dependent filds? I mean, I would like to select Name and then Department will be filled automaticaly in accordance to my precreated list. If you have such video, please share a link. Thank you in advance!
Hi! So I’ve added Plane Text Content Control text boxes to a word document. I’ve gone into Properties and created a new font style (Arial sz 8), and then enabled/checked ‘Allow carriage returns (multiple paragraphs)’. When I click in the text boxes and hit enter and create a carriage return, the text font reverts to Times New Roman sz 12. How do I stop this from happening?
what an informative vedio

Glad you liked it!
One more question. How can I reuse multiple times already created Drop-down content list control for example, in another Word document? Where can I find it?
Can you add a Rich/Plain content control field into a text box? I've tried to add one but when I turn on restricted mode the content control fiields are un-editable. If I place them inside a table or just inside the word document they work but not inside a text box.
Do you have a video of [Submit] button to the bottom of the form? Or a video after this lesson?
Hi, is it possible to add a link into a protected document? Thanks!
Is there a way to limit the text space (similar to number of characters) allowed for free text, so that it doesn't cause the page content to spill over onto the next page?
The best video on creating forms. Thank you. I am looking for the submit video. Stuck!! All videos here use outlook and I use gmail - it adds confusion to the VBA code... please can you help.

How do these 'filled out forms' print? Does everything print out?
I there, Is there a way to make the drop down list have content run over several lines (carriage return) not just one line? Let's say I want a drop down with 2 different addresses to choose from. How would I do that?
Thanks for sharing. You are very clear on each step. I finally can make the form. However, is there a way to specify the size of font that will be entered by the enduser? I have specified using the bold font when compiling the form. But it never turns out to be bold.

Can these forms be exported as pdfs with all the functionalities?
How do I import the form data into Excel directly?
Hi, this was a good vid, I figured out most if not all of it before I watched it though, because I have been looking for a feature to link two or more content controls to each other. I have a document that does this that I found but I simply can't figure out how to reproduce it in my other documents. In this instance I want to have a document number in my Header, linked to one in my footer, so that if I change one the other is immediately changed. Not like a link but as a content control option. Can anyone assist please?
Just wondering why you would have a check box for yes and no options? Since it lets you check both yes and no to answer a question. Shouldnt these be Bullets so only one answer is selectable?
Can import HTML Text into Rich text Content control
You said it all but forgot to mention how you save it, which formats?
where is the next video/module?
I’m trying to content control a section for submitting abstracts for publication in a scientific periodical. Is there a way for me to force the font and size, (ie: Arial 11) but still allow users to italicize parts of their text (like species names)?
Is there a password to unprotect the document so I can get rid of the content controls and do it with him? I am trying to use it with my students.
how to protect the form
great voice, great teaching, please improve on your visuals, everything is a bit blurry.
