Create a Dynamic Fillable Form in Word to Capture User Input
In this tutorial, I show you how to create fabulous forms in Microsoft Word with dynamic drop lists, combo boxes, text boxes, Date picker, picture selector and check boxes.
You will be able to capture user inputs for a Job application , Visa application or patient's information in a clinic… where the correct data appears in very specific places in the document.
I will then show you how to protect your form from modifications and how to distribute it to users.
We have a lot to learn… so let's dive in

Thank you for this Video. I have a Question. Can you navigate the form by using the TAB key to jump from field to field so you don't have to use the mouse and click each field?

I’m not seeing all the options that you have in the developer tab. Is it because I’m working on a Mac? Is there a way to get all the options with a Mac? This is an amazing tutorial! I already went to your site to sign up for a course!
Thanks for video! Need help! When I test my fillable cells, I can hit the enter key, which changes the cell height. How do I restrict users from changing the cell height?
How can we color the fields of the form (for example red) if the user doesn't put input and then make them green if field is filled? Is there a way to force the user to complete all fields? Thanks!
please let me know how to add math symbols in the choice of selected list like x^2

you can use Microsoft Forms (Forms.microsoft.com) and collect replies in Excel
Great content - Thank you. Is it possible to restrict the text in a field to a number ( €50,00 e.g.) or even a limited number of characters - e.g. six letters or numbers such as ABC123?

Of course all that is possible. Watch my Data Validation Tutorials
My chk boxes don't work.😢 sigh... My word is the latest one.
is there a way to create a field and limit the number of words the field can contain i.e. 250 words?
So any form filler who know how to enable the developer mode can ungroup the "protection"...
Can you make it so... that the form questions change based on the answer on the top? Ie. If you picked the U.K as the location, only give banking wire as a payment option. If you pick Japan only give credit card information as a Payment Option.
