In this week's tutorial, we create a grid of splines and deform them with a MoText Object.
This setup is simple but the base can be used and deformed in a matter of ways to create anything from FUI elements to Backgrounds.

I can definitely appreciate you getting right to the point instead of needlessly making the video extra long for no reason. Just subbed keep it up 💪🏿

Oh wow I tried to do a similar effect for hours! Didn't know I can just put the plain effector below the spline.

Well, I'm glad we could help you figure it out! Unfortunately it was after you spent the time on it!

Thank you. When we realized that almost all the effector can be used as deformers it opend up so many avenues for us.

Can you do this also in R19?

Not as easily since it doesn't have fields. You might be able to use source in the falloff tab. We don't have R19 installed so we can't test it out.

appreciate your slow talking ways but you jumped ahead really drastically at :56 in and it's not clear how the text and the splines are set up in relation to each other...

Hi Lauryn, after the on cam section, we just cut to the full setup and explain it there. The text is used as a falloff as explained at 1:39. Let me know if you have another issue.
