Yeah a more detailed kinda "technical tutorial" video would be awesome. Also, do you only make beats/loops style music? Would be interesting to see you make a more traditionally structured song like: vers vers chorus vers chorus etc. Not to take anything away from beats/loops it's just that everybody is doing it nowadays.

Hey mate I watched your review on the mini play and honestly now I'm a little unsure with what controller to go with, I was just wondering if the mini play is the exact same as the mpk2 when it comes to the midi controller side of things or does the speaker actually take away from the controller side of things in trade for the speaker? I'm completely new to all of this side of music as well so all advice on choosing the right bit of equipment is muchly appreciated haha

This thing has a ridiculous price/value balance. It's around 79 bucks on thomann right now. Will definitely buy and expand my home studio with it. :) I'm usually more into metal and will use it to Programm drums, melodies and stuff but I REALLY like the beats and harmonies you created here. That's the kind of electronic music I can really enjoy, when there's an obvious creative process behind it and not only two beats and that's it like so much is these days. Hats off to you, sir.

This is one of the coolest things I ve ever heard! Great job! I wanted to ask you if is it possible to link the MPK with an RC-300 (through a computer) and looping with that

Thanks! In order to do that you would run the audio out of your computer to the pedal and you could loop that way

No problem!! I've been making beats for a few months now, but all with sample sounds and loops....i just purchased the Akai MPK mini II , the Akai MPD 218 pad controller and the Novation Launchkey mini MKII....any way to link them all up together or no? Oh I'm using FL STUDIO 12, fruity edition...
