I have it. the sound is great. As a bass player, it's must have. JB is in an other planet.

yeah, but only the first 3 concerts, the albert hall concert sounds terrible!
Love Cream, incredible synergy and virtuosity there.
I am a huge Cream fan. First album I ever bought was Best of Cream in 1971. Never thought at the time they would ever release these gigs.
Greetings from Monterrey, Mexico. Great box set to collect and add for my rock collection. I'll order in the next weeks. Covid wont stop us....

Have fun!
Looks fabulous that Barry. Could be a virus beater. Thanks for sharing.
I was hesitant at first about buying so many versions of the same songs, but listen to the different versions and realised what a historic collection from a legendry band. Rock history indeed.
Great review! Thanks!
Hi Barry, I am happy to say that Amazon.ca offered this at over half price... so I jumped on it before they mark the price back up. Life is too short. I would have felt really terrible if I would let this pass. So I GLADLY rewatched your unboxing as to offer me some nervous anxious energy while I wait for it to arrive. God bless and be well, Tino
Spoonful from the LA Forum show is the best live version I’ve ever heard.
Great video, that boxset looks lovely but the price is very steep for me. I wonder what guitar did Clapton play on this tour, it was the Firebird or the SG maybe.

As you can see from the photos, he played his ES-335 a lot at that time.
Wow, it's pricey. Some of the live tracks already feature on the "Those Were The Days" box set.

It is a bit pricey. Does have a nice booklet in it, though.
do you know why the 4th disc, the albert hall concert, sound so bad compared to the other 3 concerts???

I have no idea - but it is disappointing.

@@classicalbum it sounds like the audio-track of a video camera or something like that. I have heard the BBC made a little 45 min doc about their last concert, which I have on DVD. and the sound there is as bad as on the cd here.
Great video! Also, what is your favourite genesis album, can you rank em?

Probably 'Selling England '. .. there are so many videos I'd like to do but I don't have the time. But Genesis ranking is on my list to do
A must have for those that can afford it but I hate the way they store the cds in these sets nowadays. They tend to get scratched and slide around...especially in shipping.....horrible. I would hope that they release the set in an all vinyl version...they should always do that as vinyl nowadays is selling as much as cds.
Have you noticed on page 57 of the book that they have repeated the same POP 30 chart from page 56. Sloppy proofreading.
Pre ordered mine in january twice gave a different release date now sayin 28th march takin the piss
Oh please... While you were browsing I saw at least 2 reversed pictures of left handed Bruce and Clapton!... How can they be so sloppy
