Thank you both for the Amazing 3D Printer tutorial! My mind is going crazy on the pieces (which are all on backorder) that could be printed to fix broken plastic gear, clevis, and even enhance some plane design aspects. What is super helpful 90% of the things you run into, I run into as well so helpful you figure things out for us.

the reason for the vacuum packed is that it can absorb moisture from the air which will result in poor quality prints any long term storage should be re sealed

Printer says "No touching!". Proceeds to do nothing but(t) touch it... That's so Brian!!! And also; Bad Brian!!! When the printer is calibrating and input shaping it takes not of the state of the printer. When you touch (or lean on the printer, in the extreme) it throws off the calibration. Also; you need to do the calibrating and input shaping anew when you move the printer to it's final spot, because the table it sits on and whatnot influences the calibration.

Is an amazing machine, only 2 things I would highly recommend: Change the hot-end to Micro Swiss Flow Tech and you will not be disappointed, OEM hot-end is not the optimal for what this printer can really do. Also, do not use the Creality slicer, is junk, recommend Orca Slicer.

I suggest you watch more youtube video's made by other users on the K1 as your missing the point or not reading the manual. To remove the print NO scraper, Remove the spring plate, Bend the plate and the print will pop off

You should have a flexible, removable print bed there! No need for chiselling up the finished piece! Lift the tab with the fingerprint on the front right and flex the plate up and away from the magnetic base. Flex the steel bed in your hands and the part should easily pop off.

It does have a flexible base plate... our 14 year knew that, but we didn't ;) Works like a charm!

@@BrianPhillipsRC Once the flexible bed is removed and cools down, the benchy will pop right off when the bed is flexed. Also, bed should be cleaned between prints (soap, water and alcohol mixture) to remove finger print oil. Finger prints on the bed definitely affect the first layer adhesion.

"KZread, it's...Megan Phillips" !?! I had to double take that intro😂 I thought, " that sounds like the Camera Crew." It was real, " Who's Not-Flex" moment for me, Camera Crew 😊 Awesome job, Andrew! You're a budding star, my man! Thanks for scratching the surface of this media for those of us in the stone ages, still ordering stuff from "Chyina" 👍

It has gotten to the point where I have been designing and printing parts for my planes. Finding parts nowadays is getting harder and harder. Just got done making motor cowls for my Avios Kingtwin and the Turbo Timber. 3DP is the way to go. Keep up your great videos. 😁

Time to start exploring 3D printed planes... they're pretty awesome for me. I have several Eclipson and 3DLabPrint planes. Haven't tried PlanePrint yet. There are free models to print to see if you like printing your planes. The 3DLabPrint J3 Cub is a nice starter model. There are many KZread videos out there...
