Motors are seldom the reason washers are replaced. It's almost always something else, that goes wrong first. As such, it's usually pretty easy to find a good used motor out of one.

when he closed the washer's drum door and started it spinning i thought the motor was going to explode or combust because it was smoking, but luckily the belt snapped in half causing it to let go of the motor shaft and the motor stopped smoking and took off spinning

I’m pretty sure the smoke was coming from the belt and the motor was heating the belt causing the belt to smoke and snap

Il y a tellement de machines disponibles dans l'atelier , que l'on peut se permettre d'en bousiller quelques unes . Gags appréciable ! Mais une question sérieuse à laquelle j'aimerais bien recevoir une aimable réponse : Quels fils électriques brancher parmi le faisceau sortant du moteur du lave-linge pour une prise sur secteur avec phase et neutre seulement ? Lesquels choisir sur le moteur pour les raccorder au secteur électrique et obtenir cette rotation dont vous avez profité pour nous amuser si bien ? Merci de nous éclairer , nous les profanes en électricité ?

I want to see a perfectly balanced drum spin so fast, that it flies apart. If a carbon brush motor can't spin fast enough, perhaps reduce the pulley size on the drum shaft, to gear it up, to load the motor at the higher "spin"speed.
