I got into twisty puzzles back in early 2014, at which point I had a mix of stickered and stickerless puzzles. I quickly learned that with stickered puzzles, unless the stickers are all large and of high quality, they will start to come off sooner or later. Also, oftentimes the stickered puzzles would come with some of the stickers imperfectly placed, which bugged me as well. I didn't want to have to deal with those issues, plus I prefer the look of stickerless puzzles in general, and so since then my collection has always been almost exclusively stickerless. Another thing I've found over the years is that I most enjoy having only those puzzles that I can pick up anytime and solve within one session. I had a bunch of puzzles that would taking me hours of frustration to solve, and where I'd have to resort to tutorials over and over, memorize long algorithms, etc., and in the end I ended up selling them off. I've had well over 100 puzzles over the years, but at the moment I have about 60. Most I can solve within less than half an hour, and some of the most challenging ones may take about an hour. I like to keep my collection practical and make sure that not a single puzzle within it collects dust for more than 2-3 months.

For me it is the exact opposite. I will always prefer stickerless cubes.

@@SuperAntoniovivaldi Yeah, and some jumbling solves are more difficult as the piece's face is not always clearly identifiable by the sticker. The downside is of course that you are stuck with the color scheme they are manufactured in. Especially, Dayan and mf8 had some unlucky picks in the past (pink instead of orange). I really enjoy QiYis new plastic tiles (Super Ivy). It's the best of both worlds.

Fantastic! I look forward to your re-doing the crazy 3x3s. I really needed them when I tried to do those puzzles myself as it was very early in my puzzling career. I should try again I guess but I have so many others to do!

The crazy planets 3x3 used to be my fav puzzles (and I prefer stickerless :)) until…Dayan Bermuda planets came along (simply because Dayan planets can shape-shifting !) You also have tutorials on Crazy megaminx planets but NOBODY has tackled any of the Bermuda megaminx series….:( so to me the Bermuda planets series (cubes and megaminx) are super difficult !

If and when you have time, perhaps you could make a video tutorial on the MF8 Crazy 2x2's, particularly the 011 and 001 versions. I received these puzzles a few days ago in stickerless versions. I have somewhat of a strategy with the 011 (Jupiter equivalent), where I reduce it into a 2x2, get all white on top (white is the 0 face on mine) and all yellow on the bottom, and then use cuboid algorithms to solve it. And if I get an impossible situation in the end with the inner yellow-white pieces, then I swap two inner pieces of another color (other than yellow and white), and that seems to fix the problem. So far I solved it one time successfully. As for the 001 (Uranus equivalent), it has me stumped for days. Reducing it to a 2x2 doesn't quite seem to work, and solving the outer 2x2 and moving around the internal pieces hasn't gotten me too far either. As for the 000 version, since I have the Sengso version I didn't get the MF8. I learned the method for solving it from your other video and can solve that one quite easily now.

You can paint black the outline of a stickerless and have the same looking as with stickers, just for not rich people can be an alternative to speend more money.

Painting is not a solution, but on the twisty puzzle forum, somebody share a recipe for dying stickerless puzzles and cure them from this ugly illness they have

@@aalacoume813 I do not say paint all the puzzle black and the put stickers, i say paint only the outline in black. For example using an Eding. Painting only a 'line', just on the 'edge' of the piezes. That is a 'cheap' and 'fast' modification that is easy to be done and give a visual result very similar. It makes to have the best of both, faces have on each pieze an outline that is black while having the inner of the pieze face in original StickerLess color. No need to buy paint that must cure, no need to dissamble the puzzle, just (on solve state) paint a few black lines. Ideal for thoose people who are not rich and have StickerLess but preffer the llok as if it would have a Black color around the perimeter of each pieze. I hope now is undertand better what i mean: * Certer taps: Paint a black line on the most outside, creating a thin black square line that leaves a square on the inside not painted in black. Like when a black boy is stickered with outline stickers, but instead of black body using StickerLess body and instead of outline stickers of different colors all in black and instead of outline stickers leaving a gap between them and the outer most part they be adjusted to the contour. Hope it is enough clear, my english is not as good as i wish.

Hi, I'm a long-time follower of yours, I love your videos, I've learned a lot thanks to you. I solve almost all the Crazy, but there is one that has been complicated for me and I am not being able to solve it, that is the Crazy 2X2 with 2 faces type 0. Please it would be of great help if you solve it if you publish the tutorial. Thank you very much
