Only on video, yet when you do it there is sweat, dirt, and swearing. Oh almost forgot maybe kicking some parts to get things off on a 20+ year old car 😂

The way he put the headlights in the oven, took the glass off and painted them was slick. I just spent $400 on my 4runner headlights and they look nothing like his....excellent job. If I had his leveel of skill, I would open up a 4runner transformation shop. For 4runner diehards like me, i will spend money on my 1997 4runner. My kids grew up in it. Lots of memories, zero problems and still running as strong as ever..

Much prefer these kinds of videos to someone walking around their 4runner and telling you what they did to it. Good job editing too. You just did some simple maintenance here along with some really clean upgrades, we can SEE the work you put into it and that's way cooler than just talking about it.

It blows my mind that people sell cars dirty, literally can lose 1000s of dollars cause they won’t spend a day washing and vacuuming, or spend 100 bucks to have someone do it. If they won’t put in the effort to vacuum it they definitely didn’t service it, best you can hope for is they changed the oil

People are lazy....that's how they let a vehicle get to that point to begin with....can't imagine what their homes and personal hygiene are like...and I don't want too!

the best part is all the custom work done by you. when you have the level of skill bring any car back to life is a blast! wonderful build!

One of the best 4Runners I've ever seen. The wheels and tires look so mean!!! Sick as always!!!

Nice work! I like everything you did...but the wheel and tire combination is a little more mall crawler and a little less offroad for my taste. I think the sweet spot wheel/tire size combo for 3rd gen 4Runners is 8.5"x17" wheels w/-10 offset and 285-70-17 tires with a 2" lift....no spacers needed. Plenty of sidewall for offroad and still very drivable on road at highway speeds. Replacing the stock upper control arms with adjustable ones is a must to get the alignment into proper spec.

I'm stuck on stock look in general.. but I like everything about this build, plus it's a blessing to have a shop to be able to do the work your self

Man this is goals for my runner. Just grabbed it today already lifted with a new steering rack, ball joints, cv axles, working rear window, new maf, alt... its ready to be modified MY way 😂

I watched the full build and never thought of it, but watching this video I think the big letters TOYOTA on the grill blacked out instead of white would look awesome.

I don’t know how many times I watched this video but I kept amazed by your work. Great details on every small thing. Awesome just awesome job.

Dude this is sick, I am trying to upgrade my 4runner and this, it just blows my mind, it does not even take long.

Best part is these trucks are worth every bit of effort put into them. I just bought my 02 limited from Oregon here in Nova Scotia and it’s an amazing machine I don’t think I’ll ever be able to sell it!

I have a '97 SR5 I am considering doing the same thing with. Still a good rig with 300k on the odometer, but a rather large bear committed suicide by stepping out in front of me, so the 'runner now needs some work on the front end. LOVED your bumper build!! Sagging in the rear also, as they all did, so I think it's getting a little lift as well.

This man is talented! Wish I had the knowledge and resources to do this to my little 89 Toyota pickup.

@@makanasfishing1574 - Didn't know you could turn a minivan into a welding rig. Naa sorry, my welding rig is a '98 Ram 2500. Custom fabricated flatbed on the back to hold all the gear. Odds are the truck and gear is worth more than everything you currently and will ever own in your life.

Finally a transformation that you actually do something unlike other "transformations" people where all they do is buy a set of wheels, wrap the car and put an exhaust...You actually do work especialyl the bumper and lights, and all that. Cheers

Your 4 runner is look’s great , had to check your vid out I just bought a 2002 4 runner with 187;000 mi. On it , white with blue grey cloth interior , it’s 3” lifted already , the diy bumpers are kick azz ! Wish I had the tools and garage to do some , I’ll have to check out some on line , I’m like so pumped ! My journey is just beginning ! 👍

I was about to ask for the front bumper and projectors lol, I just bought a silver 02 SR5 and already have peices on the way, wheels tires suspension. Looking for ideas and this build is exactly what I want haha

That's a beautiful transformation, you have to have skills and good taste to do that awesome work on a Toyota but at end it's so worth it ,I wish I knew how to do that kind of work !

After the work it looks like another car. The new front changes the whole style completely. And the video quality, sounds and songs are on point too. I’m impressed.

Definitely my favorite build of this channel

The only missing peace here is the rear folding spare tire kit. It would make the 4runner look like a weekend warrior. But even so as it stands it looks and functions amazing. Hope you guys get many more reliable miles with it.

The most cleanest, and bad ass transformation it’s a very beautiful 4Runner I love it!… I got a 97 Toyota 4Runner SR5 that I wanna do this kind of transformation to it but my own style… Keep up Kickass content!!! also seen your in Washington also I’m in the eastern part….
