I just wanna point out, since commenters be commenters loll, that this is my first ever survival game. I sucked at the beginning, and this is my raw unedited footage. As of right now I am Max level with 2 self sustained bases and a floater base and am decked out. I've recorded 40 episodes at this point and, yea it took some getting used to, but if you let me cook I'll show u some good stuff loll. Also up until like episode 20 I had accidentally set enemy pal damage to x4 and my player damage to 0.5 so I get one shotted quite a bit and things get rough until I set it back to x1 for both LOL. That said I still clutch some wins before that happens lol

I don't mind. Even though there are some situation were I am a bit suprised by your actions (like when you did not make a pickaxe in the beginning and instead harvested stone with the axe). It gives the perspective of someone new to the genre and that is quit entertaining for me at least. It also leaves a lot of from for growth wich will probably be nice to watch.

Seeing how the pals move back and forth between tasks remind me of the robots in Factorio. Seeing the way things are automated in this game remind me a lot of the automation mechanics from that one, which I am all for

As a big survival game fan and pokemon fan I really enjoyed Legends Arceus. But THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE. I had another game I was gonna buy this weekend but instead I'm getting this one and I'm gonna be hooked for a while!

Been waiting all day for ep 2 😁 i am so hyped for this game. Love survival games , love pokemon and now i got best of both worlds.

"Who are these people!? ....Oh the cops are after me!" haha was wondering how being "bad" will be punished. Definitely gonna have to make a shady alt character to antagonize them lol. Hopefully later down the line they'll add a better way for cops to be spawned instead of just popping up out of nowhere. I can imagine them flying in on a giant Pal or something. 21:50 rofl amazing. I imagine you can use that with a glider and go all over the place like you just tried to do there. Prooobably should be patched out but either way that was cool.

*A bow is just a gun without gunpower. I mean technically that is true.

The amount of ignorance coming from a lot of YTers with this game concerns me. Its going to get unnecessary backlash because it isnt "pokemon with guns" or a "pokemon clone". There are plenty of YTers completely skipping the automation, even with a week of play time already. Really annoying.

My very first conversation about the game was laughing about the absurdness of having Pokemon working gun assembly lines. And you'd have to argue REALLY hard to see BotW in here as opposed to the survival games it's actually influenced by, like Ark or Rust. I guess because it has a glider and a similar stamina HUD element?

For me the issue eith drop rate being so high is that it decentivizes using your pals as harvesters because you don't have to worry about infrastructure at all, you chopping down a tree is easier than assigning workers and it chenges the entkre way you play the game and it chabges all the pals you choose to seek out. It makes it so this becomes a pure monster battle game because you don't really have to worry about resources or make tough calls with which monsters you have. If Minecraft YTers increased their drop rates for like... Iron. Or Wood. Or whatever.... they wouldn't have as much of a need to build the epic Iron or Tree farms. To have the incentive to take on those projects, you've really got to feel that pain of doing it manually. It makes you appreciate your pals much more.

Pals use beds that are open. They need their own beds but they kinda just use whatever is open. Its just like Ark and nests.

Just got off have been playing since it launched haha. Anyone else find the massive egg sizes yet or just the huge one. Anyone else find the random odd eggs in doffernt booms then usual to get those rare pals easiest one is in the far north the scorched egg in the coldest zone its a normal size also but the pal is well worth it

I know this is for the Monster tamer crowd but, "Do you want me to sit here choppin wood for 10 years" Wouldn't take ten years if you were being efficient, As someone who's played lots of survival games, yes there is a grind, but the very start of the game isn't that grindy if you know what you're doing, I'd recommend following the tutorial they made for people instead of worrying about how much time it takes to do something, you can edit and cut the video later if you need to shorten it or cut out the tedious parts. The start of PalWorld is baby steps compared to some other Survival games, plus if you treat the pals right it seems they help speed up some of the processes. If anything this game actually speeds up the grinding with Automation so in a sense this is the easiest Survival game yet. All that aside, You do you and have fun with it, just feels like a kid complaining about food they've never tried before. But you've already played plenty of the game by now, I'd hope you know how to do things better at this point

@@KatoFW Well news flash for you dummy, I have a job and enjoy Survival games, because they are fun and a good way to wind down after a long day of work or spend a day off, especially when the themes match up with my interests, such as Ark or PalWorld. Honestly the losers in life are those that refuse to try something new for petty stupid reasons and call everything they don't like online trash like their opinion will matter and make people stop enjoying things they like.

Short answer is yes. There are versions that are larger, and have higher stats. They're called "lucky" and they don't necessarily have a color variation, just an effect around them as well as their size. They aren't really "shinies" how you would think of them in Pokémon.
