Because of the bagpipes I could listen for hours. It has something soothing about it. This peaceful, good humour and yet partying has also won me over with the Scottish fans. They appreciate the hospitality. If only all fans were so peaceful, friendly and simply respectful, then you wouldn't have to worry about the other fans. At first I thought the same thing: "Scottish fans would be like their southern neighbours . . . . *this was absolutely NOT true!"* We just want riots and not violent fans. Until a month and a half or a month ago, from mid-May to the end of May, many cities in the south-west were under water. The DFB insisted that the European Championship take place and contributed to the costs of cleaning up the cities. Some citizens wanted the European Championship to be cancelled, but the DFB again insisted on its opinion. The citizens who were against the European Championship were not asked. Some fans complained that German fan merchandise ( shirts, tickets) had become more expensive.
