Crazy Rusty WW1 Wire Cutters Restoration
Ойын-сауық
Very rusty WW1 wire cutters Restoration. I found these wire cutters at a WW1 military camp site. The wire cutters were underground for 106 years. The wire cutters are very rusty and I decided to restore them. These are rare wire cutters, albeit of simple technology. I removed the rust and preserved the old metal. Now these wire cutters work! I hope you enjoyed my restoration video.

Hey man! I love what you do! In the flood of all the fake restorers, it’s amazing to have a beacon of light in the real ones like you! I love what you do! I think it would be cool if for when you’re waiting for the electrolysis process to complete, you could stream it! No commentary needed! It would be pretty cool! Thank you for what you do!

Thank you very much for watching my videos and thank you for the interesting idea!
Great work as always! It’s so neat that you brought something back to life that’s been buried and forgotten for so many years, we’ll done!
Very nice work! These must have been a beast to carry in a WW I German rut sack! And the fact that it is a two-handed cutter makes it a bit exposing to the enemy!
Schön. Für so eine Schere sich so viel Zeit hingeben. Respekt 💪👍🇩🇪
It looks great and a wonderful job saving history! I enjoyed your video so I gave it a Thumbs Up

Thank you!
Fantastic, sympathetic restoration as always. What stories they could tell!
The access you have to battle grounds is really cool and the items you find and restore are fascinating… even a pedestrian tool like a pair of wire cutters. We all know those were probably as important to the war effort as an M1 or 1911.
Amazing as usual !! ✌🏼
Such a great restoration 👍👍
Very good !
Very well done my friend. Big thumbs up. Take care.

Great job! Well Done! Regards from Canada 🇨🇦
Beautiful!
An amazing amount of steps you had to take to get off the rust! Electrolysis, vinegar, grinding, sandblasting…!

q - restoring these old treasures and memorys/reminders of history: how much "substance" to these old tools is lost during restoration?
Super to pani jest odrestaurowane te szczypce do drutów ale nie lepiej na zdrowy rozsądek i Rozum od razu to piaskować a nie elektrolizować i czyścić wypiaskować później wżery metalu pospawać wyklepać oszlifować to szlifierką kątową papierem ściernym i później oprawić wrączki i za konserwować też by było dobrze Pozdrawiam serdecznie i polecam ten kanał każdemu widzowie. 👍👍👍👍👍
good job ❤

Why don't you use rust remover like evaporust or something. I feel like vinegar not only doesn't work good on steel but stinks.

Точно не знаю. Це кусачки РІА. Рідкісні. За багато років я знайшов лише 2 рази такі. Можливо це ранній тип.
