Ok, all the applause for the choreographers and performers, but can I also give a standing O to whoever's working the camera?

Keone and Mari Madrid! They are absolutely GOATS. They've done so many amazing pieces, but this is my favorite: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gWRmrLx7fK3UiLQ.html

@@christinafrancis9796 Keone and Mari are the couple that are on the right side of the fence at the end. They're a married couple who choreograph together and separately. And obviously they're also amazing dancers themselves haha

I’ve honestly watched this clip OVER 200 TIMES so far (and that’s a conservative estimate!). On some of my repeat viewings, I’ve focused on studying the overall staging of the number, while on others I’ve gone back and done at least one viewing focusing on each of the individual performers, studying their strengths and unique qualities, which are evident even as they perfectly hit their marks as part of an ensemble. There’s one particular performer who has been my focus on OVER 50 OF THESE 200 VIEWINGS (obviously my most-watched performer; I’m that blown-away by the precision and interpretation in his work): MIKEY RUIZ-the guy in the black boater hat. The DYNAMICS that Ruiz finds within the choreography and musical arrangement STILL fascinate me … even after over 50 focused viewings! Rewatch this video and pay attention this time to Ruiz. You’ll see what I mean. An AMAZING performer out of a GROUP of amazing performers!!! What an ensemble is assembled here!! I SOOOOO wish I could see this show in person (I’m stuck in Phoenix😢!)!!!!!

PLEASE EXPLAIN THE OVER USE OF HANDOGRAPHY!!!! 🤚🏽 🤌🏼🤏🏼🤲🏼!?!?!? I was it last night and I’m STILLLLLL CONFUSED how that wasn’t an explicit explanation 😩😫🥺☹️😣😖😭 - seen here from 1:24-1:45🤯 - I assumed it was going to be an Ariel story tie in…. But then no. If I saw y’all doing that on the dance floor I’d ask if you needed assistance 😭 are they perfectly in sync? Sure! Is it precise? Ok. BUT WHYYYYYYYYYYYY 😭🤯😫 #confused #andconcerned #rowJ #seat110

It's choreography. It's dancing. It's subtle movements for a subtle part of the song. Don't think too much about it.

Maybe there's a narrative in ASL? I saw the show 2x and didn't even think about that, I just enjoyed it as "dancing". I don't know ASL... maybe someone who does can translate?

Lol it's an offshoot of urban and hip-hop dance. In this case Dime stops and isolation. Been around for awhile.
