​@@thatonedude1476 yes , an line and a few hooks will do the job just fine. thats why its more practical to get some young walnut and tie the line to it , some hooks and there you go , u got an functional primitive fishing rod.

Also a bottle that i notched myself, i keep water in but it is also wrapped with 100 feet of 14lbs braided fishing string and i keep several different types of tackle. A tent and a titanium camp stove that weighs 1 oz. Sleeping bag. My survival bag weighs 10 lbs when im planning on staying 3 weeks. And i never travel less than 40 miles in and out

I owned one till it broke it lasted me 3 to 4 years. It only broke because someone stepped on it but i had mine set up with a Shimano microspin that i had to modify to get it to fit on the pole and for fishing line i had trilene 6lb extra smooth casting. it was perfect for streams and small rivers

@@veljash21 but like a said i put a different reel than the one it comes with. I ordered the pole on its own and bought the reel separately and i had to modify it to make it fit on the pole.

Hey if it catches fish it can feed ya. Looks like a fun little rig, and I'm sure it'll catch all the bait catfish love!

They actually sell some that can extend ranging from 1m to 1.6m with a normal working spinning reel. Been carrying it with me everywhere and got so many fishes with it. I honestly advise you to buy one (1.4m is the best I think) cause it’s so practical. Put some braid on the reel though cause nylon or fluorocarbon will twist easily.

I have that exact same rod, just red. I’ve never caught a bass on one, only ever caught bluegill, mostly because that thing isn’t made for bass… still a fun thing to take out with the boys on a cool Friday afternoon

Everyone buys the fake ones off of Amazon. I bought one from the original company. I currently own three of them, all of which have lasted me 7+ years. They function like regular telescopic rods that have a good casting range.

If you put string around a stick a lot and you make it go down near the rocks you could get a cod or some other fish’s that lives under the rocks but ADD THE HOOK ON IT AND BAIT OR ANYTHING
