From KC. Brett is the greatest. His HR in '80 to put us in WS still my favorite Royal's moment. Upper deck baby.

When the Pine Tar game resumed, Billy Martin had his pitcher appeal to each base claiming that Brett hadn't touched all the bases. Since it was a different umpiring crew, how would they know whether he had or hadn't? But the league office anticipated this and had the original umpires sign a notarized statement saying that he indeed had touched all the bases. Also of interest was the fact that Martin had left-handed thrower Don Mattingly play second base and pitcher Ron Guidry play center field, subbing for players who were either injured or traded away in the interim.

Suggestion for your next crazy games video, Game 5, 1920 World Series. Without creating spoilers, it had two firsts and an only.

When are you going to mention that time renowned Italian opera singer Enrico Pallazzo was revealed to be the umpire?

You forgot to mention that the guy Ty Cobb beat up was in a wheelchair. I'm not sure whether that makes a difference or not but it sure did tug on my heart strings the 1st time I heard that story. He had a lot of hate in his heart and he sure wasn't afraid to let people know about it. He deserves an * next to his name more than Barry bonds does just because of all the hate he spewed as a player. He was paranoid his whole life and died with no friends to speak of. He was the Richard Nixon of MLB.

Sabermetrically incorrect play. This cost Texas an out, charging the mound would not have.

@@big8dog887 Perhaps Sabermetrics overlooks situational ambush bunting and Provacational plays in WAR algorithms as the Rangers won the game. I'm speaking as an Indians fan.

He labelled it part II, so now he has two part IIs out there. The thumbnail picture has two lightning bolts.
