Welcome to my KZread channel Hairliciously. In this channel, I will be taking you on a journey of my FUE hair transplant progress. Towards the end of November 2016, I had a 1700 FUE hair transplant done in South Korea at Motion Clinic (en.motionclinic.kr) to lower my hairline and to fill in my receding temples. The FUE hair transplant procedure took me about 7-8 hours to complete and cost me approximately $5000 USD.

Hi what do you think about spreading a very thin layer of the Dutasteride liquid capsule on scalp and then straight away microneedling over it to get it into skin by hair follicle? that way you skip the junk and harsh stuff thats in any Finasteride or Dutasteride compounded topical ... you ideally wouldn't want that harsh stuff going into skin.

I believe that this is true. Im using the derma pen and results came fast for the areas that had the least time being either thin or bald. The areas that are bald the longest are taking forever. Im thinking it will take a year plus possibly but I will be consistent.

As a hair restoration surgeon myself I can tell you that your results look incredible and totally natural. Asian hair is a bit more challenging as the straight hair texture can be very unforgiving if your direction and angles aren’t spot on when you’re creating recipient sites. Any inconsistencies in density are also more readily noticeable. Love your channel. You’re very informative and a great source of information for men and women suffering from hair loss. 👍

I started taking action a couple of years ago. Firstly I was just rubbing my nails together but so infrequently lol. Then I found out about microneedling and I was only doing then that for a few months. Afterward I found out about the positive effects of peppermint oil and how in some studies it was actually more effective than Minoxidil. I'm reluctant to use minoxidil because I'm scared of side effects and how any gains I might lose if I suddenly stopped taking it. I think I've had some results though, albeit slow. I also combine this with scalp massages daily, biotin, saw palmetto and I use Nizoral shampoo twice a week with peppermint oil drops.

@@vincewarren1271 that is understandable. I bet mixing the rosemary with another essential oil you might prefer, just might help you tolerate the scent better. If you like peppermint it would be a win win to mix it with the rosemary due to it's stimulating effects as well. Best of luck to you!!!

I use the dr pen a6 instead of a derma roller since the wounding is more consistent and causes less unnecessary trauma. The roller travels at a 45 degree angle on the scalp which can cause more tearing and since pressure is applied manually, it may not be consistent.

i do not at all blame anyone for not wanting to go on minoxidil, if you stop, you lose your gains, i do not want to be applying this twice daily until death, right now I am microneedling at 1.5, i started with 1mm dermaroller and moved to 1.5 dr pen 2 months later, i apply rosemary oil in jojoba on the nights that i microneedle however, i sporadically use it in between, I have been taking stinging nettle root, 500 mg daily which significantly reduces hairfall in the shower when i shampoo, i also use nizoral 1% once or twice a week, i have diffuse hairloss with a ludwig style pattern of balding and i am looking forward to reaching the 6 month mark so i can see where im at. I recently introduced vitamin D3 and will start taking a multivitamin as well daily

Hey people have come back from worse than him but it takes time. I would say if it's the same after 18 months, then yeah there's no point cause the follicles in the bald areas are dead. Which is why it's important to first go to a scalp specialist so they can do a thorough examination on your scalp to see if it can be revived, otherwise you'll be wasting money on treatments with little to no results.

Hey Hairliciously! So I've been taking Nioxin system 2 (shampoo, condition, treatment) to deal with my hair loss. After using it I noticed my scalp having much less acne and my hair loss slowed. I think the product's job of removing follicle-clogging sebum contributed greatly to my slowed hair loss. With that said, i don't think i have noticed hair GROWTH. Do you think you regimen will clash with taking nioxin shampo/conditioner/treatment or does your minoxidil and derma rolling regimen account for people who lose hair to dandruff and Seborrheic Dermatitis.

I did microneedling once a week for about a year. I saw no difference, became skeptical, and put my dermaroller away. Then I read some offhand comment about trying it more frequently. I started up again, doing it about every other day, on average. I saw a big difference in hair growth within a couple weeks and became a believer. I seem to have plateaued at this point, but I'm still doing it just to maintain what I have. I wish I'd started sooner. My belief is that you have to do it often to see a difference. Once a week will not cut it, at least for me.
