I went fishing with a cheap Walmart rc boat about 20 years ago and a 6lb bass hit it and took the boat under water for 4 or 5 seconds . I had tied my fishing line from my rod & reel to the boaTso I just reeled him in. boat and all!! Caught it on video too.! The reason for using the boat was to get my bait to the other side of the pond where a creek fed the pond was too far to cast!😎

I love homemade high tech stuff! Gonna need a bigger rc for the fish around here!

Damn you Big B!. Ok, The Twin Tugster is gonna haul back some slabs!. I have a brass 3 blade for it I need to scalpel sharpen, to either cut the line and free myself, or cut thru the pond lettuce. Bring on the dual SMC 3s flight packs at 70c. I have that snapped top section from my Goodwill bass rod.

try a magnet on the line so when the fish hit the line pulls and you reel it in old fashion

Cool video, I was running a fielun FT012 out in the delta during salmon run season and had a 30+inch salmon strike the boat from underneath. The fish took the boat under for a second before it shot up from under the water 5 yards from where it disappeared

Putting the rudder behind the prop would give you better steering authority once your "hooked up". I was looking at mine and it seems simple enough to rig. Being a right turn only offset-rudder boat right out of the box, it makes it susceptible to those side loads not designed or even thought of into it,,lol. Sacrilegious using a Ocean Racer Catamaran for bass fishing. The purists will have nightmares, , lol.
