If you guys ever tour Switzerland/Germany/Austria - you have the e-Rocks made by Opel. Same car, identical specs, just rebranded for the German market. Touring the Alpine roads there and charming picturesque small towns would make life interesting!

HOME RUN GUYS! You must have the most overlooked Vlog on the web. Really delightful and what more could you ask for? A magical destination, epic food in a delightfully hospitable locale, an unusual and fun buggy and comic relief to boot. After 30 mins I wished it was longer. Mixing views up with the new camera angles was a nice addition. I was also wondering about a pole and 360 camera as in the last installment mounted to Elton's rear end might make for some dramatic views. As you were touring Saint Jeannet, It occurred to me how fun and beneficial it could be for you and Citroen if Citroen had a spot on the AMI website to share your love affair with the AMI But alas, when I searched for what I expected to be Citroen's cute and artsy AMI homepage, I instead found some pretentious display of digital boilerplate that could have just as well been selling industrial cleaning supplies. I'll drop Citroen a message with some links and a suggest they consider you as their AMI lifestyle ambassadors. Thanks again for the delightful time. Cheers!

Thanks Jack. Much appreciated. We have plans for the 360 but like most of our plans they don’t often survive the first encounter with reality! But we shall keep trying!

Oh the memories! We hired a small car at Nice Airport. However the hire company kindly upgraded us to a much larger hatchback, a Renault Laguna . Very nice we thought until we decided to visit St Jeane . Nightmare we will never forget as we came face to face with traffic in the opposite direction on those narrow streets . 🥴

At about 24:24, I think he was looking for the word spelunking. It means exploring caves. Not pot holing, which is I guess exploring pot holes.

There’s lots to like about you videos the scenery , the car , my Ami is a 1977 model , and for me your delivery is like I imagine Alan Bennett’s delivery . Love it 🥰😍😍❤️

Your videos are so refreshing ! And... it inspired me to buy an Ami too, hurray ! But have to wait till July to have it delivered. Looking forward to some slow tourism in and around Brussels :)) BTW, what about an idea of challenge : driving up to the village of Gourdon? That would make a great video too ;))

Normally I would be really annoyed by people who drive round little villages in their car just for fun - but in the case of the Citroen Ami it's ok.

Guys, I have a suggestion. Before I left Madrid I was offered a Renault Twizy for just under 5k. I should have bought it. The Twizy was of course made in Spain and they have now also being cloned elsewhere. Why don't ye go and get one - and keep the Ami. Here in Ireland I was quoted 12k for it - too pricey. But down the continent you will do better.

@@MeandMonAmi Well, both. I guess if you are getting one you might need to look at battery degradation as it's second-hand. But that would be the same for any electric car. There might be more of them cross the border in Spain but I don't know. Check out Renault dealers and the like.

I’m curious, what did you do BEFORE you got your Ami? Oh much fun you’re having now!

I’m absolutely sure my VW New Beetle would never navigate those narrow village roads. its simply too big and while its a small car, it wasn’t helped being ballooned up on the Golf platform! The Ami though takes them with elan.

That would be tough for them to so because the video is sped up during the music. And we really don't hear much anyway when they are silent for a bit. I used to say the same thing about eScooter ride videos. But the motors got so quiet you really couldn't hear them in the video anyway.

Yes I ‘think’ I’m better than when I started. There is a hole for a Bluetooth speaker but it’s hard enough for us to be heard on mics as it is.. and of course music in background brings copyright issues
