They are not better, but tickets for the stadiums in Germany are still affordable and thus a Fan Culture stays alive and doesn't have to retreat into the pubs.

@@MBN420 Yes i agee, by the way Bayern fans have a reputation for being boring as well, The Allianz Arena is often described as a graveyard. But why is the Atmosphere in german or other stadiums better? In the past the Atmosphere in Englands Stadiums was unmatched. So what has changed? In Germany you get a ticket for 9 Euros, in England between 50 and 100. There are also standing rooms in german stadiums there the crowd can be tighter packed and there are the Ultras, they make most of the atmosphere. English Clubs are owned and ruled by Investors they want revenue, they want expensive seats. German Clubs are owned by its members among them are the Ultras, they always say they will leave the stadiums for good if ticket prices go beyond 10 Euros or if the clubs will be taken over by foreign investors. In England that already happened.

I’ve got Bundesliga and PL on Sky. Not matter who’s playing, it’s a significant difference in atmosphere. You can gauge it quite well switching channels mid game. PL atmosphere is literally dead compared to BL it’s crazy

Bit hard to support the team when they aint even trying. Last season the atmosphere was amazing. England and german atmosphere is different, english fans aint jumping around when their team is 4-0 down

I'm Fan on Werder Bremen a german first division Club who plays since 10 years a the bottom of the League. On time i was on a awaygame in Köln and Werder Bremen lost 7:1. But we Support our Team the whole game without a break. And in the ens of the game we motivate the Team again to show them its okay to Lose.

Kein Bayern Fan, aber im TV nur Bayern gehört. Respekt👍

Even in our 3rd League we have Clubs where every Weekend 20+ thousand People scream their Heart out for their Club because its religion for them. Premier League clubs except Liverpool Fans are so boring and quiet in the Stadium, the only thing acceptable is the shithousery to each other but everything else is boring af. Come to Germany and you feel and see real passion for clubs plus you can drink beer in the stadium.

You obviously don't attend Premier League games? Villa Park currently rocking. The Tottenham Hotspur stadium, very loud (even though they're Spursy scum) The Emirates, best atmosphere currently since Highbury Kenilworth Road, sounds like double the crowd that's actually in there. Goodison Park can generate a good atmosphere

Most teams of the first, second and even third german division have a better atmosphere than in these places. Regularly and not just when their team is performing.

No one travels like the British fans but we have nothing on the European clubs for atmosphere

I am a city fan, they didn't make much noise at the the Etihad and we took 5000 to Munich and took the piss 🇬🇧

English football fans are an accurate representation of English society now, quiet, nice, very weak and emasculated Just sit watching in wonder then maybe sing a nice little harmless song about one of their own players
