For me, it was The Fiend vs Goldberg. At least Finn had a competitive match. Fiend was booked to be a Jason Voorhees unstoppable type character only to get squashed in 3 minutes by an old man with a botched Jackhammer.

The turnbuckle breaking was supposed to go further into the storyline, but the plans were changed. I forgot why but theirs an interview with Finn explaining it

For the Steve Austin ladder match, they literally explained on the next show I believe that it was Big Boss Man. It's a big Mandela Effect that they never explained who it was. Bossman was previously fired from the corporation, and there was a stipulation in the match saying that the Corporation couldn't get involved in the match. Since Bossman was fired, he wasn't part of the corporation and thus interfered by raising the briefcase. He was soon thereafter rehired to the corporation.

3:21 there actually was an explanation for that on the next episode of raw where it was revealed that Big Boss Man pulled it up big boss man was kicked out of the corporation for one night so he could do that, because the corporation was banned from ringside it's such a lame reveal that no one remembers it

I would add one crazy way a wrestler TRIED to win a match. When Umaga tried to count a pinfall on the wall in a *Falls count anywhere match". That truly meant falls count ANYWHERE. 🤣🤣🤣

I think bigshow won a match that way one time. Don't quote me on it though. It's like a fleeting memory in my mind. I just remember him yoinking a little guy up sideways and the ref slapping the wall.

The Big Boss Man was fired from the Corporation on the prior episode of Raw; he was rehired the next night after KOTR. He was the man operating the briefcase mechanism so Austin couldn’t grab it.
